Classroom Tools:The apps posted below are tools that I would use in my classroom with my students during instruction.

This app allows students to write, store photos, and memos into a diary that they can use to learn. This app will keep students organized and on top of their assignments.

2. The Ultimate Buzzer- Free https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/the-ultimate-buzzer/id459677810?mt=8

This app allows students to buzz and clap. This can be useful when the whole class is playing an educational game

because students can buzz in when they have an answer.

3. Educreations Interactive Whiteboard https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/educreations-interactive-whiteboard/id478617061?mt=8

This interactive app allows students to animate, write, and be creative with an interactive whiteboard created for the iPad.

This app allows students to blog as a class or independently. Students can post photos, videos, share ideas, and collaborate about a topic.

5. MyScript Calculator- Free

This app allows students to write any problem, calculates it and turns the problem into the answer. It can be used for simple addition or subtraction and also for more difficult equations.

This app allows teachers to take attendance, create seating charts, and stay organized with charts for the classroom.

2. Report Card Maker- $7.99 https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/report-card-maker/id524759194?mt=8

This app allows teachers to complete and print a variety of report cards. You can also edit the report card and make the necessary changes.

3. Stick Pick- $3.99https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/stick-pick/id436682059?mt=8

This app allows teachers to pick students names when

asking a question to the whole class. Instead of picking random names from a bunch of sticks in a can, this app makes it simple, organized and easy.

4. Teacher Assistant Pro- Track Student Behavior-$ 5.99https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/teachers-assistant-pro-track/id391643755?mt=8

This allows teachers to track student behavior, actions, and achievement in class. This app helps teachers to communicate easily with parents and inform them about their child.

This app allows teachers to read and use the Common Core State Standards that are necessary in every classroom. Teachers can easily access this app and use it while creating lessons, writing plans, etc.

Spelling Tools:The apps posted below are tools that I would use to help students with spelling on their own and during instruction.

This app allows students to focus on reading and spelling skills. Students Learn letter sounds and form words by manipulating the letters on their own.

2. Clifford’s BE Big with Words- $0.99https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/cliffords-be-big-with-words/id329022340?mt=8

This app helps students practice spelling three letter words. Students are allowed to choose between letters, and once a word is completed, the app reads the word aloud.

3. Licking Letters-$0.99https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/licking-letters/id431550762?mt=8

This app helps students practice and identify capital letters and spelling three letter words. Students help the frog by tapping the letters as they travel across the screen.

4. Teach Me: 1st Grade- $1.99https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/teachme-1st-grade/id355940964?mt=8

This app can be downloaded for Kindergarten and 1st graders and is used in many ways. The student can focus on sight words, spelling, addition, and subtraction.

This app is a game that presents a picture with a letter missing in the word. The student has to guess the missing letter to complete the word.

Mathematics Tools:The apps posted below are tools that students would use during mathematics in the classroom and at home.

This apps reinforces different math concepts allowing students to practice their skills anywhere.

This app allows students to create rocket ships, but before doing so they must earn coins. Students earn coins by answering math problems correctly.

This app is used for students to play Bingo but also practice their math skills interactively.

4. Geoboard-Freehttps://itunes.apple.com/us/app/geoboard-by-math-learning/id519896952?mt=8

This app allows students to explore a variety of math problems to learn about perimeter, area, angles, etc.

5. Mathly Hollow-$1.99

This app is a game that allows students to defend the Mathly Hollow from the mosnters by solving mental math quickly.
