Dear Parent/Carer, 13th December 2019 In the last two weeks we have held our lovely Nativity and Christingle services and enjoyed our whole school visit to the Pantomime. As we approach the final busy week before Christmas I would like to inform you of the remaining activities in school.

Monday 16th December – The Schools’ Music Service will be in school to perform a Christmas concert for the children during the afternoon. There will be no charge to parents.

Wednesday 18th December – Christmas Dinner. Children who do not usually take a school dinner are welcome to join us for a roast dinner with all the trimmings and a festive dessert. Children should inform their teacher in the morning of their choice of a school meal or packed lunch. School meals cost £2.40 for all children in Years 3-6. Children may wear a Christmas jumper instead of their school jumper today if they wish.

Thursday 19th December – Christmas Party. There will be no school meal today. All children should bring a sandwich on their named plate and party clothes to change into for the afternoon games. The remainder of the party food will be provided by the school with funds raised by our Family and Friends group. We are also hoping to see a very special visitor in school!

Friday 20th December – Christmas Jumper Day and Carols Around The Tree. Today children may come in a Christmas jumper/non-uniform. Parents, carers and families are invited to join us in the Hall for a festive sing-song starting at 3.00pm before we break for the Christmas holidays. Doors will be open from 2.45pm.

The school will close at 3.30pm on FRIDAY 20TH DECEMBER and will re-open at 9.00am on TUESDAY 7TH JANUARY 2020. May I take this opportunity to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
