Convention Prayer requests for Nov. 2; The annual ministry wives retreat called REFRESH will take place in November. Please pray for safety and protection as they travel to and from the retreat and ask that God will richly bless and renew them as they gather together for worship, learning and fun. Please also use this opportunity to pray for and show appreciation for your pastor’s spouse, being aware of and responsive to their ongoing need for friendship, encouragement and support within the fellowship of the local church.

ANNOUNCEMENTS AND COMING ACTIVITIES

Nov. 3 10:30 am Baptist Women's Day of Prayer at Bridgewater Baptist Church. Soup luncheon to follow.

Nov. 5 7 pm Choir practice at the Church

Nov. 8 8:30 am - 4 pm A one-day workshop at the Bridgetown Baptist Church, providing a Christian perspective of hope, understanding and practical help to those who struggle or support others with mental health struggles. See poster on bulletin board.

Nov. 9 7:00 pm, at Bridgewater Baptist Church, Eduard and Christine Klassen will be in concert with the Paraguayan Folk Harp and Keyboard and will present a collection of Christian instrumental music.

Nov. 11 10:30 am Remembrance Day Service at the Church with Philip Riteman as guest speaker. Refreshments for the social following would be appreciated.

Nov. 14 Our Church is providing the treats for Messy Saints at the Elementary School.

Nov. 15 7 pm Phil Williams from Woods Harbour will be holding an evening of gospel inspiration and encouragement at the Brooklyn Baptist Church. Come and hear southern gospel music and recitations.

Nov. 18 2 pm Pastor Sam will be conducting the service at the Rosedale Home.

Nov. 30 2:30 pm Royal Juncat, will be presenting a Special Gospel Service at Lapland. A free will offering will be received and used toward the cost of a new heating system. A time of fellowship and refreshments will be held following the service.

Dec. 7 3 pm Sunday School Christmas Concert. BIBLE STUDY will be held Thursday evening's at 7 pm except on Governing Board night.

The Salvation Army Annual Christmas Kettle Campaign will begin on Friday November the 21st. We are at this time looking for volunteers to help staff the kettles for this year. If you have 2 hours to spare and would like to help out at one of our locations please call the Salvation Army Bridgewater at (902) 543-0356. Thank you and God Bless!"

Please help: The Sunday school is in need of volunteers to help teach.  If you would like to help out please see Terri. It would involve one Sunday morning a month if we can get enough for a rotation.  Christmas tree decorating will be held on November 28th starting at 6 pm.  It will be taken down on January 4th following church.
