Overview Want to archive a snapshot of a website, social media feed, or other web platform prior to it being taken offline, deleted, or redesigned? Our Web Snapshot Service builds on Archive-It’s expertise and custom open-source technologies to preserve websites, social media feeds, or other web platforms. These archived websites can be revisited in the future, like snapshots, and preserve the qualities and functionality of the original websites.

Features You select the websites, social media, or online documents to be archived and the Archive-It staff will do the rest. Share your snapshot publicly via archive-it.org, the Wayback Machine, or privately with select users. Access points may include full-text search and descriptive metadata. Archive-It can provide tools for integrating snapshots with your websites or other collections. Multiple copies of your archived data are stored securely at the Internet Archive’s independent data centers and are available for you to download at any time. Snapshots are generally completed within 30 days.

Pricing • Pricing varies according to the size of the websites but is usually $500 to $2000. • Custom pricing options are available for more extensive or specialized services.
