ROMAN ROAD!

On sale in the playground on Wednesday 12th June

We are pleased to share with you the 6 winning designs of our Room 13/Roman Road Trust tote

bag competition!

The bags will be on sale in all the major shops and stalls on the Roman Road but you can get

yours early after school in the playground on Wednesday 12th of June. The bags come in 6

designs and are only £3.00 each! All of the money raised will go to fund materials for Room 13

and every time you use your bag instead of using a nasty plastic carrier bag you will be helping

to protect the environment and reduce plastic waste.

NURSERY CLOSURE

The nursery will be closed for the week

from Monday 24th June so that staff can

conduct home visits on the children who will

join the nursery in September 2019.

School will resume for all pupils on

Monday 1st July 2019.

The final parent/ carer conferences of

the year will take place on the dates

Sky Garden

There are 9 available tickets to visit the Sky

Garden (London's highest public indoor

garden) on the 26th June, leaving school at

9.45am. This is an amazing free attraction in

London and Semra will be accompanying the

group.

Please see Semra in reception red if you are

interested, unfortunately no children will be

able to go on this visit.

OLD FORD BAKE OFF

Old Ford will be holding a presentation and

tasting competition on Friday 14th June. Every

child is welcome to bake a cake to enter the

competition. The cakes will be judged by Year

6 pupils and will then be on sale after school.

All money raised will be donated to Cancer

Research UK.
