This could be to suggest the fact that the character of Eva is emotionally and physically not there anymore and she has withdrawn from everyday life. We want to take this idea on board in the sense we want our viewers to be able to know and understand exactly what we want to show through the front of our magazine cover. However, I want our magazine cover to be a bit more exciting as I feel that although this cover is effective due to it depicting a cold feel and creating a sense of isolation through the use of bland colours and the blank facial expression on Tilda, I feel it could be worked on to intrigue viewers even more. This is something that as a group we will take on board when creating our magazine cover as we want viewers to experience a feeling of curiosity from seeing our front magazine. Image 2: -The main image of the magazine is of the actor ‘Tilda Swinton’. This could potentially be for the reason that she plays the role of the man character in the film and thus the magazine thought it would be a good idea to have her promote both her role and the film. This is something we would like to organise, as we want to have to have the actor playing the masked man to be the front of our magazine, for the reason we feel his role is essential for our film as he is the one who creates all the fear.

-The colours used are so simplistic and plain.

-The main image of the magazine is of the actor ‘Tilda Swinton’. -As you can see there are three main colours used throughout the magazine cover and they are black, white and pink. These colours compliment the colours of Tilda Swinton as she is dressed in black and white and has bright pink lipstick. This creates a well round neat magazine. The fact her face is so white depicts the idea that there could be a potential death running throughout the narrative of this film. The fact that she is so white, and is wearing a hat that is so white for example, makes her image almost sink into the background. This could suggest the fact that she is weakening and suffocating from the pain that is being inflicted on her throughout the narrative. Moreover, the fact she is dressed in such masculine clothing (a suit) suggests that she has an important relevance to the film. Due to her lips being dark pink, it could signify the blood motif that runs throughout the film. -
