Mission Statement: Ben Davis University High School, a partnership between the MSD of Wayne Township and Vincennes University, wil l provide rigorous, innovative educational programing designed for students who excel in a small and supportive academic environment, culminating in a high school diploma and associate’s degree.

Enrollment: 368 students School hours: 9:15am- 4:15pm Facil ity- Ben Davis University High School opened in August 2007

at the former Ben Davis junior High Staff : 16 teachers plus offi ce staff , students services, nurse,

cooks, custodians, and administration

I assumed the school would be 9-12 th and off er college credits.

I did not realize it was only 10-12 th grade and that they only off ered specific associate degree programs

I also didn’t realize they would graduate with an associates degree.

I think this school is great for students who have a very specific career in mind.

Based on research I would say this school is progressive, it is very student centered.
