The Wayamba University of Sri Lanka will entertain applications for the following posts from the permanent confirmed employees of the University Grants Commission/Higher Educational Institutions/Institutes/Campuses. ASSISTANT REGISTRAR (LEGAL & DOCUMENTATION) Qualifications:

1. Should possess a Bachelor of Law Degree from a recognized University/ Higher Education Institute or/Attorney-at-Law with not less than three (03) years of experience gained in Court work, legal work and drafting legal documentation in a State/Corporation or Reputed or reputed private sector organization or official bar

PROJECT MANAGER U-EX 1 (II)

Qualifications:

1. B.Sc. (Eng.) degree specializing in Civil Engineering OR B.Sc. degree specializing in Quantity Surveying OR Equivalent professional qualifications

AND

2. Corporate membership of a recognized Engineering Institute OR Corporate membership of a recognized Institute of Quantity Surveyors

AND

3. A minimum of 10 years relevant experience in construction projects, handling contracts as well as in managing direct labour

CHIEF MARSHAL

Qualifications:

1. a. Should possess a degree from a recognized University/Higher Education Institute

and an officer not bellow the rank of Assistant Superintendent of Police or an Officer in equivalent rank in the other Armed Services of Sri Lanka.

OR

b. A holder of the post of Deputy Chief Marshal in the Marshal service and confirmed in that post with not less than five (05) years of satisfactory services in that grade.

2. Physique Height - 5'5'' Chest - 32'' deflated

Note : Preference will be given to those with actively participated in Sports activities, Social Welfare activities and Recreation programmes within the University and at National Level.

DEPUTY CHIEF MARSHAL Qualifications:

1. A holder of the post of Marshal Gr. I and confirmed in that post who possesses a degree from a recognized University/Higher Education Institute with three years of experience in Police/Armed forces / University Security service after obtaining such degree qualification and active participation in sports activities. Qualifications:

1. A first class or second class in the B.Sc. special degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering from a recognized University.

OR 2. (a) A pass in the B.Sc. special degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering

from a recognized University OR

A first or second class in the B.Sc. General degree with Computing as a subject component from a recognized University

AND

(b) One year experience in the field of Computing/Networking

1. Application should be sent to the Senior Assistant Registrar/Academic Establishments, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Lional Jayathilake Mawatha, Kuliyapitiya under registered cover along with copies of relevant certificates to reach on or before 31.07.2017.

2. Specimen application forms could be obtained from the Establishments division of this University from 10.07.2017 or available on the University website i.e. www.wusl.ac.lk.

3. Candidates should forward their applications through the Head of the Department and it is compulsory to indicate the post for which the application is sent on the top left - hand corner of the envelope.
