Today’s office buildings must be ecologically friendly, modern yet comfortable and easy to maintain at a minimum cost. Lovair has been part of a movement to put washroom design on this agenda for both new buildings and refurbishment projects. While respecting green regulations defined by BREEAM, Ska and LEED, Lovair works closely with the demanding construction sector to create unique washroom solutions; aesthetically inviting for users while still enhancing the green rating for the building. Lovair’s Sensor Tap range combines modern technology with water savings in a variety of surface finishes and can be fitted alongside matching soap dispensers. With versatile Solid Surface material, Lovair also creates bespoke environments in vibrant colours and smooth shapes.

Lovair’s commitment to increasing the social awareness in washroom design is best reflected in our projects for the educational sector. The Lovair team has worked closely not only with architectural and construction firms to reduce water waste but also with headteachers to find unique washroom solutions which remain welcoming to students while taking into account the complex social challenges posed by schools. After completing several projects, Lovair has come to specialise in open-plan washrooms which have been endorsed by the British government’s Department of Education because its particular design has been proven to reduce bullying and vandalism.

This comprehensive secondary school for pupils aged 11-16 doubles as a college for mathematics and computing. Aedas Architects who were commissioned to design the £15 million building – contacted Lovair at the conceptual stage to work on open-plan washroom areas.
In addition to producing Washtroughs and Washfountains in vibrant colours, Lovair collaborated with the main contractor Balfour Beatty and on-site teams to ensure the highest quality at every stage, from design to delivery, from fitting to aftercare.

Lovair was specified by Pringle Brandon Perkins+Will, part of the architectural team that won the competition to design this landmark sustainability building. An exhibition space, conference centre and education facility, the Crystal also functions as an office for more than 100 Siemens employees. Lovair was inspired by the
architectural concept for the building shell – a crystalline geometry designed by Wilkinson Eyre – to create green washroom solutions eligible for meeting the tough criteria for both the LEED Platinum and the BREEAM Outstanding levels.

Slim Slab The Slim Slab has a modular bracket system: simple to install and easy to adjust. The slab is cantilevered to create a floating effect.
