• The White House is one of the most important artifacts in the city. This is the home of our presidents.

The Smithsonian Museum

• The Smithsonian Museum has a lot to see. You will enjoy the many collections they have, like minerals, typewriters, or paintings.

The Washington Monument

• The Washington Monument is an amazing structure that honors our first president.

The Lincoln Memorial

• The Lincoln Memorial is cool because you can see our 16th president sitting in a big chair.

The Viet Nam Memorial

• The Viet Nam Memorial honors soldiers who fought in that war.

Arlington National Cemetary

• In Arlington National Cemetery, you can visit two famous grave sites.

Tomb of the Unknown Soldier

• The Tomb of the Unknown Soldiers honors soldiers who were lost or killed in wars.

The Eternal Flame

• The Eternal Flame stands at presidents John F. Kennedy’s grave site. He was the last president to die by an assassination.
