The forum is specifically for Victorian school leaders who will lead their school teams in establishing ABLES within their school. Warragul & District Specialist is one of only two schools asked to showcase best practise at this forum. Nicole will give a presentation to the audience highlighting the fantastic work that she and the staff at this school have accomplished in embedding the ABLES curriculum within our school. This work has had a significant impact on your child’s education, specifically on setting targeted goals and devising programs to address these goals. Well done to the school communi- ty for the work we have done. This year’s school concert is fast approaching and already the con- cert preparations are underway. The school’s Parents and Friends Association (PFA) will once again be running a raffle. This is a major source of fund raising revenue for the school. The PFA is looking for volunteers to help man the raffle table both on the night of the con- cert and at specific times and locations over the next few weeks. The PFA is also looking for raffle donations from the community. If you are able to assist in any of these areas could you please contact the office. Many of you would have received a Parent Opinion Survey. Thanks you for all those parents and families who have already returned the survey to the school. Can I please encourage all those families who haven’t already returned their survey to do so before the 12th Au- gust. Matt

School Concert Raffle Donations

Each year we raise funds for our school by holding a raffle that is drawn at the conclusion of our fabulous school concert.

We are asking our school community to support our raffle by donating non perishable items or requesting donations of products or vouchers from local businesses.

If you would like further information or require a ‘sponsorship request letter’ please contact Joy Pugliese on 0408 359 694.

Raffle tickets will be available for purchase once prizes have been confirmed.

Thank you for your help and support!

West Gippsland Eisteddfod Some of our students will be performing at the West Gippsland Eisteddfod on Monday 12th August at the West Gippsland Art Centre.

Parents are welcome to attend and curtains go up at 10am. The eisteddfod will conclude sometime between 12 and 1pm. Good luck to all of our talented students who will be performing.

BABY MAX

Last week, Room 4 got to meet the newest member of Tyler’s family. Tyler was a very excited and proud big brother and everyone loved learning all about Tyler’s

little brother, Max.
