Off we go to America

We had an insightful and fun-filled pre-travel briefing at theOR Tambo Birchwood Hotel before we hopped onto the busesthat would then connect us to our 16-hour plane-ride at ORTambo International Airport to Walmart in America. Amongus were some first-time jet-setters – most of us had neverbeen to the USA

Visiting Walmart stores

We started at a Walmart Superstore in Fayettville with a guidedtour from the store manager, followed by a visit to Sam’s Club –Walmart’s big warehouse store chain. A lot of questions wereasked and we took a lot in on how we could improve thingsback home.

It’s time for Africa

We represented our continent in every opportunity we had –through the fun and through the serious activities . In the afternoon we had a team building event where we had to build a “Makarapa” from scratch and it proved to be a lot of fun.
