Write a book report on the assigned book

DETAILED REQUIREMENTS OF TASKS

TASK 1 : ORAL PRESENTATION OF BOOK REPORT (50%)

You will be required to prepare and present a 7-10 minute overview of the book you have been assigned to read. This is an individual presentation. Your presentation should include

a brief introduction of the book – title, author

the storyline

an interesting aspect of the story –the theme or character

a statement as to whether you liked or disliked the book and reasons why.

DETAILED REQUIREMENTS OF TASKS

TASK 3 : BOOK REPORT (50%)

You will be required to write a 600-800 word book report on the assigned book. This is an individual assignment. Your book report will include :

An introductory paragraph that states the book title, author and type of genre (comedy, mystery, science fiction)

4-5 paragraphs that clearly describes the book focusing on setting, the plot, character, and themes/issues.

The final paragraph should summarise what you have learned from the book and what you liked or disliked about the book and its justification.
