For more information go to www.primarybusinesspartnership.org.uk I am part of the Control Systems Group at Sellafield Limited. I provide plant support / technical expertise for various Programmable Electronic Systems which control and monitor the decommissioning facilities at Sellafield. This involves carrying out routine preventative maintenance, and I also have to fix the Control systems when they breakdown. Any changes that we make to the software that we use to control our electronic systems has to be rigorously checked to make sure it is safe to use - this takes up most of my time during the day. I went to Bransty Primary School from nursery through to year 6 and then to Whitehaven secondary school in 2004. I left school in 2009 after my GSCE's and went to GEN2 to do an Electrical and Instrumentation Apprenticeship which ended up with my going to Sellafield as a Control Systems Apprentice. I then completed an NVQ Level 3, a Foundation Degree before getting my First Class BEng Honours Degree in Plant Engineering. I have worked hard to be an Engineer and I'm very proud of my achievements. Plant Engineer Control Systems Group Name: Job Title: Lynsay Jolly 1. What do you like about your job? 2.
