Recommended Procedure:
- Use the chart below to get initial settings for either the low or high dials
Note: they are not additive, use only one dial with the other set a “0”
- Add a thermometer to an open well hole and monitor the temperature
- Well should reach desired temperature in <10 min. for most models
- Adjust setting dial as needed to get closer to desired temperature

Construction High grade, nonporous aluminum with anodized

1) Use Up/Down arrows to set desired temperature
2) Press Start/Stop to begin heating cycle, note green light
3) Press Start/Stop to turn off heating, light now off
4) To change temperature settings, Press
START/STOP once, use Up/Down arrows to enter
the new set point, then press START to resume
the new heating cycle.
5) Remain cautious of block after heat is turned off. 6) Toggle to OFF using switch in rear

Setting Desired Temperature:
1. Turn the sample protection thermostat knob to maximum
2. Press Left arrow control key until “C” appears, press again to show current set temperature
3. Press ^UP or Down arrows to set the desired temperature
4. Press Left arrow control key again to store this set value
5. Reset the sample protection thermostat knob to a safe value
6. Temperature will revert to actual water temperature and move toward set value
7. Use a thermometer to verify that set temperature is accurate
Setting Shaking Speed:
1. Press Left arrow control key until “C” appears
2. Press the ^UP arrow until the display changes to a moving “[___]” symbol
3. Press Left arrow control key again to show the current shaking speed
4. Press UP arrow to set the desired speed between 40-400 or DOWN arrow to set to 0/zero
5. Press Left arrow control Key to lock in the desired speed
SPC-Single Point Calibration:
1. Enter this mode to finely tune the deviation from the set temperature to a closure tolerance.
2. Press Left arrow control key until “C” appears, then UP arrow until SPC displays
3. Use Up/Down arrows to set new tolerance, then Left arrow control key to save

The IPS microplate incubator is a dry incubator
designed to heat and maintain a constant and
homogeneous temperature inside the wells of a
microplate.
• Usable for all microplate techniques
