collected Due Friday 17th October, 2014 Publication reference period 2008-2013 Traditional research outputs - A1, B, C1, E1 Non-Traditional outputs - creative works as research Research reports – new category added to non-
traditional outputs for ERA 2015

later this year May nominate your publication
for HERDC HERD eligible categories: A1, B,
C1, E1 Nominations will go through
an internal audit process Transparent - you can see the
entire process

• Measure of Research Activity (MORA) Research publication data will be extracted from
VU Elements for MORA calculation Categories include A1, B, C1, E1, must meet the
HERDC criteria. Creative Works as Research, must meet the VU
Creative Works as Research Guidelines.

Setup a free “ResearcherID” login. (Write down your ID.) Web of Science, Author search, Save to ResearcherID Scopus, Author search, “Request to merge authors” if
needed Refer to email/handout. Help available from College

• Add address words, eg. previous author affiliations.– “Victoria” is default for

• Assisted Entry:– Book or Book chapter: book search (title/ISBN)– Journal/Conference Article: DOI search

– RIS file (EndNote/Zotero/Mendeley… exports)– BibTex file
