    Mildura Rural City Council, at its ordinary meeting held on 23 October 2019, formed the opinion that the Unused Road Reserves in Tutye, and shown hatched on the plan below, are not reasonably required as roads for public use and resolved to discontinue the road reserves and transfer this land to the Crown.

    Notice is hereby given the Boroondara City Council at its meeting held on 24 August 2020 made the Boroondara City Council Street Numbering Local Law pursuant to the Local Government Act 1989.Purpose of the Local Law

    The purpose of this Local Law is to: revoke Council’s Street Numbering Local Law 2010; provide peace, order and good governance of the municipality; provide for protection and enhancement of the amenity and environment of the municipality

    through the uniform numbering of properties throughout the municipality; and ensure street numbers are displayed, to enable easy identification of allocated street numbers by

    emergency services vehicles.General purport of the Proposed Local Law

    The general purport of the local law is to: ensure the display of street numbers that are of a style, size and colour as to be clearly visible

    to occupants from vehicles on the nearest adjacent road; establish a law which ensure correct allocated street numbers are displayed; and create enforcement mechanisms for contravention of the proposed local law, which may incur a

    penalty specified in the local law. A copy of the Boroondara City Council Street Numbering Local Law may be inspected at the

    Notice is hereby given the Boroondara City Council at its meeting held on 24 August 2020 made the Boroondara City Council Common Seal and Conduct at Meetings Local Law pursuant to the Local Government Act 1989.Purpose of the Local Law

    The purpose of this Local Law is to: revoke Council’s Meeting Procedure Local Law 2017; regulate the use of the common seal; prohibit unauthorised use of the common seal or any device resembling the common seal; and create offences relating to the conduct at Council and delegated Committee meetings.

    General purport of the Proposed Local LawThe general purport of the local law is to:

    regulate the storage and use of the common seal; establish a law which will maintain order at meetings; and

    PUBLIC NOTICE – PUBLIC CONSULTATION ON THE DESIGNATION OF A PORTION OF GORDON BARNARD RESERVE, NORTH BALWYN,

    AS A FENCED DOG OFF-LEASH AREACity of Boroondara (Council) is currently consulting with the community on a proposal to

    amend Council’s Order (made under section 26 of the Domestic Animals Act 1994) to establish the area set aside within Gordon Barnard Reserve (between the existing pool and eastern oval) as a fenced, designated dog off-leash area. This proposal is in accordance with the Council resolution made at the Services Special Committee Meeting held on 10 August 2020, to proceed with the development of a fenced dog play area at this location.

    Community consultation for the fenced dog play area occurred during March 2020 and the results were presented at the meeting on 10 August 2020. For further information on the results of the consultation, please contact Council’s Environment and Sustainable Living Department on 9278 4060.

    Council is now seeking community feedback on the proposal to amend the Order as previously described, to coincide with the development of the fenced dog play area and invites you to comment.

    Within the fenced dog play area, dogs will be able to be exercised off a chain, cord or leash if the owner or other person who has custody of the dog carries a chain, cord or leash sufficient to bring the dog under effective control if the dog behaves in a manner which threatens any person or animal.

    The proposed amendment to the Order can be viewed on Council’s website. Written submissions must be received via the ‘have your say’ page on Council’s website (see link above) or via email: [email protected] no later than 5.00 pm on Sunday 20 September 2020. The community will be informed of the date, time and place of any meeting to hear submissions on this matter.

    Notice is given pursuant to sections 119 of the Local Government Act 1989 (Act) that, at its ordinary council meeting on 18 August 2020, Swan Hill Rural City Council (Council) resolved to amend the Community Local Law No. 2 2017.

    hazardous and unsightly properties.Clause 55 – Open air burning: Adding ‘industrial’ areas to the prohibited burning zone; include

    maps of fire restriction zones to make it clearer for residents, and the option for conditional burning permits to be issued for exceptional circumstances.

    Clause 79 – Droving and moving of livestock: Droving livestock across the municipality will be prohibited, however moving livestock between paddocks, that are not adjoining, may be allowed with a permit. Livestock owners do not require a permit when moving livestock directly across the road or between adjoining farms.

    Trading Code of Practice: Updated to include legislative changes to the Tobacco Act 1987 for outdoor dining and drinking.

    The Community Local Law – Local Law No. 2 2017 (Amendment) will commence operation on the day following publication of this notice in the Victoria Government Gazette.     In this determination and with reference to the numbered item in the table in the determination:(a) opening date, being the date on which the determination of the firewood collection area

    comes into operation, means the date specified in column 5 of the item.(b) closing date, being the date of revocation of the determination of the firewood collection

    area, means the date specified in column 6 of the item;Determination

    Each area of State forest shown hatched on a plan lodged in the Central Plan Office of the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning, the number of which is shown in column 1 of the item in the table in this determination, is a firewood collection area for the purposes of section 57U of the Forests Act 1958, effective from the opening date for that area until the closing date for that area (inclusive).

    Being satisfied that it is necessary to do so for management of the supply of fallen or felled trees for domestic use as firewood in the region of the State comprising the Shire of Towong, I specify that only the following classes of persons (or their nominees) may cut and take away fallen or felled trees in the firewood collection area: (a) residents of the Shire of Towong;(b) residents of the Shire of Indigo, in postcodes 3691, 3690;(c) residents of the Shire of Alpine, in postcodes 3691, 3695;(d) residents of the Rural City of Wodonga Council, in postcodes 3691, 3690.

    The Minister prepared and approved Amendment No. 123 to the Upper Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges Regional Strategy Plan and the Amendment has been approved by Parliament under section 46D of the Planning and Environment Act 1987.

    The changes to the Upper Yarra Valley and Dandenong Ranges Regional Strategy Plan are:The exemption of eight properties from the requirements in Chapter 13.11 – Other Commercial

    Use and Development and a correction which applies to land that is used for extractive industry and mining (Earth and energy resources industry) in the Yarra Ranges Shire or is intended to be used for extractive industry and mining (Earth and energy resources industry).

    Specifically, the Amendment: Amends Schedule 6 to include an exemption of the eight properties from the requirements of

    Chapter 13.11 so that they may be used and developed for commercial purposes subject to the requirements of the Yarra Ranges Planning Scheme.

    The second part of the amendment reinstates the wording of Chapter 15.03 Extractive Industry policies that was introduced into the Regional Strategy Plan in Amendment 104 in 1997.

    Amends Schedule 8 to register the amendment to the Regional Strategy Plan.The Minister did not consult with the municipal council as the Amendment is off a class
