If you are starting at the VPP home page (www.vmware.com/go/vpp)
Step 1: Click “Sign-in”

You will directed to the myVMware login page (https://my.vmware.com/web/vmware/login)
Step 2: Register for a My VMware account if you do not have one (skip to next step if
you already have a My VMware account and know your password)

Step 4: Place your mouse on “Buy” menu and choose “Volume Purchasing”

You can get to the VPP Points Portal from other My VMware pages
If you are on the “Buy” page, click on “View Volume Purchasing” link

You can get to the VPP Points Portal from other My VMware pages
If you are on the “Profile” page, click on “View VPP” link on the “VMware Programs” tab

Login Error When Accessing VPP Points Portal
From any of the pathways listed you may get the below “Login Error” screen if:
• Your company does not have VPP account
• You are not added as a contact to your company’s VPP account
If you know your company has a VPP account please:
• contact your company’s VPP Primary Membership Administrator (PMA) to be added
• contact the VPP team using link on page (or [email protected]) for further assistance
If not, please enroll your company into VPP using the link on the page or
www.vmware.com/go/vpp-enroll

Visit your VPP Points Portal
Information on the VPP Points Portal includes: VPP Name & Membership Number, VPP
points, eligible discounts, affiliate(s), partners, messages and a link to the VPP Configurator
Note: A PMA who logs into the
Points Portal has enhanced access
rights over a customer contact or an
affiliate. A PMA can view messages,
contacts, partners and affiliates.
Customer Contacts can only view
partners and affiliates.
VPP Name and membership number
PMA will be listed here
Any messages will be highlighted

View your messages
Click “Messages” to view affiliate
requests to join your membership
Respond to messages
PMAs can approve or deny requests
to join your VPP membership. You
will be prompted to supply a reason
why you are denying a request.
Note: If you deny a request for an affiliate to join your VPP membership, the awaiting affiliate will receive an email
notifying of the rejection.

View your contacts
Click “Contacts”
Contacts can either be PMAs or contacts
Click “Remove” to delete
an existing contact.
To add a Contact
Click “Add Contact”
Enter all required contact details
For Account Administration, Select “Yes” to
designate this contact as a PMA and “No” to
keep as a Contact

View your Preferred Partners
Click “Partners”
Click “Remove” to remove a partner To Add a Partner
• Under “Locate a Partner” enter Partner’s name
(at least the first 3 letters)
• Select your Partner’s Country
• Click “Search”
• After search results appear, click “Add” next to
the name(s) of your Partner(s)
• Your selected Partner(s) name (s) should now
appear under the heading “Current Partner”
• Repeat search as needed
• When finished adding Partner(s), click
“Continue”

View your Affiliates
Click “Affiliates”
Click “Remove” to remove an affiliate
To add an Affiliate
• Click “Add an Affiliate”
• Enter all required contact information
• The newly added affiliate should now appear
under “Current Affiliates”

Manage your affiliates
Select “Edit Enrollment Setting”
Select your setting and click “Save” • If you select “Always Allow” then any Affiliate
will be allowed to use your VPP membership
number to enroll or submit a PO
• If you select “Allow after Approval” then an
affiliate who enrolls using your VPP membership
number will be added to your membership only
after receiving PMA approval
• If you select “Affiliates not allowed” then
affiliates will not be allowed join your VPP
membership unless named by your PMA in your
Points Portal

Launch the Configurator
Click “Configurator”
Note: Please refer to “Configurator User Guide” for more details about the Configurator

View VPP Status
This will give information on
• Points needed to maintain current level
• Date points need to be accumulated by
Roll-Off Schedule
Click “Click Here for Roll-Off Schedule” gives
complete point roll-off schedule
