    intotheignitionslotandpressitinasfaraspos-sible.

    –Depressthebrakepedal.

    Locks thedoorsandtrunkandarmsthealarmA.

    Unlocks thedoorsandtrunk,anddis-armsthealarmB

    Trunk(pressoncetounlock;presstwicetoopentrunkslightly).

    Approachlightingilluminateslightsindoormirrors,cabin,footwells,licenseplates.Turnsignalsandparkinglightsilluminate.

    “Panic”alarm. –Pressandholdtosoundthealarm.Turnoffalarmwithunlockbutton.

    Informationaboutthevehiclecanbegatheredwithinarangeof300ft.(100m).–Pressthebuttonandwaitfor7sec-onds.Ifthevehicleisoutofrangewhenthebuttonispressed,themostrecentlystoredstatusinformationwillbeshown.

    ATheaccessoryinclinationandmovementalarmsensorscanbeturnedoff.Seethe“Alarm”sectionofyourowner’smanualforinformation.

    BAutomaticrelockoccursifnodoor/trunkisopenedwithin2minutesafterunlock.

    Onkeylessdrivevehicles,itisonlynecessarytohavearemotekeyinyourpossessiontooperatethecentrallockingsystemandstarttheengine.

    lOCKING AND ARMING THE AlARM–Pressthepressure-sensitiveareaonanyoftheoutsidedoorhandlesortherubber-coveredbuttontotherightofthetrunkopeningbutton.Thelockindicatorlightonthedashboardwillstarttoflash.

    uNlOCKING AND DISARMING THE AlARM–Pulladoorhandletounlockandopenthedoororpresslightlyonthelargerofthetworubberizedbuttonsonthetrunklid.

    STARTING THE ENGINE–Witharemotekeyinthepassenger’scompart-ment,depressthebrakepedal.

    –PressandreleasetheSTART/STOP ENGINEbutton.Theautostartfunctionwilloperatethestartermotoruntiltheenginestarts.

    SWITCHING OFF THE ENGINE–PressbrieflyontheSTART/STOP ENGINE button.

    ParkthevehicleandpresstheSTART/STOP ENGINEbuttontoswitchofftheengine.Pulltheremotekeyoutoftheignitionslot.

    IftheBLISindicatorlightsilluminateevenwhentherearenovehiclesintheblindarea,thismaybeduetolightreflectedfromawetroadsurface,thevehicle’sownshadowagainstalarge,light,smoothsurface,orsunlightdirectlyinthecamerawhenthesunislowonthehorizon.

    –Pressandholdthebrakepedalforaslongasnecessary–therewillbenobrakingeffectifthepedalisreleased.

    CAR CARE

    Handwashingisgentleronthepaintthananautomaticcarwash.Sincethepaintonanewvehiclemaytakeseveralmonthstohardencompletely,werecommendwashingthevehiclebyhandduringthisperiod.Usecleanwater,asuitablecarwashingdetergentandasponge.Keepinmindthatdirtorgritonthespongecanscratchthepaint.
