David M. Cox Elementary School – Dream It! Believe It! Achieve It! NOT LIMITS! Cox Families, Welcome Back to School! We are all working hard getting ready for distance learning this year! I hope your families are safe, healthy, and had some relaxation over the “summer break.” During the three weeks I had off for my summer vacation I enjoyed spending time with my family, tried not to think about and start planning for our school year (I wasn’t successful at that one), and worked on the latest “Imboden Family Project” which is restoring stand up jet-skis from the 90’s (which are turning out pretty awesome). I am looking forward to this school year and most importantly seeing our students back in our buildings when this distance learning is over! Meet Your Principal: For those of you who are new to our school, I’m Mrs. Imboden, your school principal. I have enjoyed my last 9 years here at David M. Cox and look forward to a successful year 10! I am entering into my 25th year with CCSD, 12 of which I taught elementary school and the remaining 12 I served as an administrator in elementary schools. I am a UNLV graduate with a Bachelor’s of Science in Elementary Education, a Master’s Degree in Instructional Reading Curriculum, and a final Master’s Degree in School Administration.
