Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,May the peace of God come upon u!We thank God for His special blessings

in the 30th Anniversary of TVGM.God has enabled me to complete 5 years

in TVGM and helped me to start the 6th yearby His grace. Praise God!

We thank Pastor Viki and Bro.Warrenwho participated in all the programs and

delivered the Lord’s Message.Moreover, I am indebted to thank Pastor Luke who is the

senior pastor of Elim Christian Center.By God’s grace I was able to visit 8 Churches that is being

constructed in Villages and pray for them.As a special note kindly pray for a prayer house that was

constructed in Virachal village before some years. No Church servicehas been conducted here because of the opposition and the plasteringwork is yet to be completed . Moreover, Karambakudi A.G Church andJ.M.H.A Prayer House has been experiencing opposition right from itsinitial stage itself. Kindly, pray that God might remove these barriers.

We need a building for our children home in Trichy and Kodavilai.We also need to buy some land in Pudukottai to set-up children home.Please pray!

In Kandhamal district of Orissa state we are planning toconstruct at least five churches for persecuted pastors this year.

Moreover, my dad and I are planning to visit Sri Lanka to seehow the affected people can be helped.

Here is the Lord’s promise.Isaiah 62:2

“You will be called by a newname that the mouth of the

LORD will bestow”May be today because of

your limited wisdom or physicalgrowth disability or your colour oryour physical appearance orfinding some similar fault in youpeople may look down upon youand call u by nick names and candisgrace you. Sometimes, even your chil-dren, your relatives or your par-ents can disgrace you.

Don’t soak your eyes withtears. Your God knows your need.People may call you by nick nameor show gestures that can breakyour heart into several pieces. Therefore, in order to consoleyou the promise of God comes toyou this month.

“You will be called by a newname that the mouth of the

LORD will bestow”Confess your faith as follows:

“I will be called by a newname that the mouth of the

LORD will bestow”Although the mouth of

worldly people say a thousandwords of distress to you. One singlepromise word from God is enoughfor you.You will be called by a new name.In Old Testament period,

A person named Abramwas called by a new name calledAbraham.

A person named Sarai wascalled by a new name called Sarah.In New Testament period, A person named Simon wascalled by a new name called Peter. A person named Saul wascalled by a new name called Paul.

Yes! The Lord who calledthese people by a new name islooking at you and saying.You will be called by a new name.

God has His will to give youa new designation


This designation is not givenby man or by world, but a designa-tion given to you by God. May be apromotion awaits you or a helpawaits you to build the kingdom ofGod. So that,“You will be called by a newname that the mouth of the

LORD will bestow”Rev 2:17 says, “He who has an ear,let him hear what the Spirit says tothe churches. To him who over-comes, I will give some of thehidden manna. I will also give him awhite stone with a new namewritten on it, known only to him whoreceives it”.

Yes! He is going to give youa new name that will be known onlyby you.Rev 3:12 says, “Him who over-comes I will make a pillar in thetemple of my God. Never again willhe leave it. I will write on him thename of my God and the name ofthe city of my God, the new Jerusa-lem, which is coming down out ofheaven from my God; and I will alsowrite on him my new name”.In Rev 2:17 the Lord says, “I willgive him a new name” andIn Rev 3:12 the Lord says, “I will

write on him my new name”.Through theses verses God revealsus things that are going to happenin the last days.

In order to get a new namewe must take victory, which is abasic requirement. We need a victorious life fromsin, world, flesh and Satan. We weneed a victorious life in everything.Rev 21: 7 says, “He whoovercomes will inherit all this”.I John 5:5 says, “Who is it thatovercomes the world? Only hewho believes that Jesus is the Sonof God”.My dear children of God!“You will be called by a newname that the mouth of the

LORD will bestow”Please note Abram. First of all (Gen 12:1) Lord saysto Abram: Leave your country,your people and your father’shousehold and go to the land I willshow you.In Gen 12:4 we read, “As the Lordtold him Abram Left and went”.

Please note the implicitobedience of Abram. He believedthe invisible, left everything , obeyedGod and went.


When Abram was 99 yearsold the Lord appeared to him andsaid (Gen 17:5) “No longer will youcalled Abram, your name will beAbraham, for I have made you afather of many nations”. What was the reason behindfor God to give Abram a newname?

As the Lord said to Abram,he left his country, his people andhis father’s household and went tothe land the Lord showed him.My dear children of God!

Like Abram we need tohave a missionary vision.

Today, many Christianmissionary organizations are long-ing to have more missionaries.Willyou Commit yourself today.

In the New Testamentperiod, Mary the mother of Jesustells the servants, (John 2:5)“Do whatever He tells you”

Dear child of God whoreads this promise word witheagerness. Do as Jesus tells you todo. So that,“You will be called by a newname that the mouth of the

Gen 28:18, 19 says, “Early thenext morning Jacob took the stonehe had placed under his head andset it up as a pillar and poured oilon top of it. He called that placeBethel”.Gen 28:22 says, “And this stonethat that I have set up as a pillarwill be God’s house, and of all thatyou give me I will give you a tenth”.Gen 35: 9-10 says, “After Jacobreturned from Paddan Aram, Godappeared to him again and blessedhim. God said to him, “Your nameis Jacob, but you will no longer becalled Jacob; your name will beIsrael.” So he named him Israel”.Please note Jacob.1.This stone shall be the house ofGod2.One tenth of every thing what Godgives him. Do u have a desire to build aprayer house for the Lord?Not just that,Do u have the commitment inyour life to give one tenth of

By God’s grace, the 100-VillageMinistry was conducted in Trichy-Manikandam Union from 20.04.09 to24.04.09.

Pastor Joseph KalaiArasan ofPanjappur FMPB Church extended hishelp by giving place in his Church forfirst and last day meeting and alsoprovided sweets for all the volunteers.

A total of 49 volunteers from 13 districts of TamilNadu camefor the village ministry. On the first day, the names of the villages thatwhere to be reached were read out and prayerswere offered. TVGM Secretary, Bro.StephenChristopher gave words of encouragement andadvice to the workers and led them in prayer. Then the village workers were divided into 11teams and each team consisting of 4 membersprayed for the villages that were allocated for them.After lunch, the teams were dispersed into their al-located villages. They distributed the Gospel of Lukebooks, tracts and Cross flags free of cost to all thehomes and did door to door evangelism.

On the final day prayer,special guests fromNewzealand, Pastor Viki andBro.Warren Hokke deliv-ered the Lord’s message andencouraged the volunteers.The village workers sharedtheir testimonies and praisedGod together. Travellingallowances, sweets andspecial dinner was provided.

Following this the village workers participated in a Seminar andthe 30th TVGM anniversary thanks-giving service that was conducted inthe TVGM Head Office .Through this ministry, 5714 Luke’s Gospelbooks, 13,000 tracts and 7500 Cross flags were distributed. More-over,105 friends of other faiths gave their addresses and requested forBible lessons to be sent to them through correspondence.

TESTIMONIES OF VILLAGE MINISTERSTeam No:1 Sis.Mariammal, MaryChellabai, Salomi Sammanasu,Kiruba Palaniammal. When we were distributing gospelbooks door to door and preachingthe Gospel, people eagerly askedfor the books. Some asked why wewere distributing this. When weexplained to them that this wasGod’s light, they happily received it.Further, we walked 3 kms ahead andreached Mekkudi village, preachedthe gospel and as we were return-ing one man collected and brought13 gospel copies given by us earlierin that village and threatened us notto distribute any more book in thatvillage and drove us away from thatvillage. We distributed 515 LukeGospel books and 680 Cross flags.Team No:2 Sis.Kasthuri, MaryMeena, Marial, Ruth, Annal.We gave Luke’s gospel books in thevillages of Esanappatti, Poongudi,Vadakkimedu, Aruvakkudi, Matta-pparaipatti and proclaimed the goodnews. People listened to us withinterest. One man told us that, Jesusis a good God. We distributed 550Luke Gospel books and 750 Crossflags.

When we distributed gospelbooks in the villages, there was noopposition and people heard thetruth joyfully and received the books.We distributed 389 Luke’s Gospelbook and 750 Cross flags.Team No:5 Sis.Jebamani,

People in the villages of Sooravali-patti, Mattur, channasippattireceived the books with eagerness.People in these villages werefarmers. They wanted us to pray forgood rain. We prayed for rain.Despite, severe heat we walkedalong and did ministry. Wedistributed 500 Luke’s Gospelbooks and 600 Cross flags.


Team No:6 Sis. Dora Lazar,Amirtham, AnhonyMary, Sheela. In the villages we went, youngpeople received the books with loveand the fear of God. We preachedthe Gospel with love. When we didnot have a place to stay, God helpedus through a little girl to get a placeto stay. We distributed 500 Luke’sGospel books and 645 Cross flags.Team No:7 Sis.Grace Padma,Annakili, Jebamary, Aiswarya,

Manorangitham. By God’s grace, we were ableto distribute Gospel books to thehouses in the villages and preach theGospel without opposition. Weprayed for several people. In theplace where we stayed, we taughtchildren songs, stories and versesin the evenings and explained tothem the love of Jesus. We distrib-uted 525 Luke’s Gospel books and670 Cross flags.Team No:8 Sis.Mariammal,Celin, Abiyel, Shanthi. In Sengulam village, we met24 individual families who basicallycome from the same family. Whenwe preached the Gospel they heardit with much interest. They alsoreceived the Gospel books withhappiness. The people in a villagecalled Seventhianpatti, drove usaway saying that no Gospel shouldbe preached and no books to be

distributed. In Alundur village alsopeople refused to receive the Gos-pel book. We prayed for severalpeople. We distributed 400 Luke’sGospel books and 650 Cross flags.Team No:9 Bro.Benjamin,

Many people in Kodangipatti,Kunnathur, Saralappatti andFathimanagar villages eagerlylistened and received the Gospelbooks. A few Catholic Christiansargued with us. Despite ourexplanation to them God’s word,they did not accept. We distributed500 Luke’s Gospel books and 650Cross flags.Team No:10 Sis.Esther, Lydia,Devakirubai, Pitchaiammal, Louis. We distributed gospel books in7 villages. All received us with loveand heard the good news withinterest. We prayed for some. Wedistributed 835 Luke’s Gospelbooks and 620 Cross flags.Team No:11 Bro.Israel, Isthaki,Stephenraj, Joshua. We distributed Gospel booksdoor to door and proclaimed thegood news. All received these witheagerness. We did the ministry withfreedom and without any opposition.We distributed 500 Luke’s Gospelbooks and 885 Cross flags.

By the immense grace of God theApril month ministry was a blessing. Asmentioned last month we distributedLuke’s Gospel free of cost in thevillages of Aathalavilai, Sangaranputhur, Kananpathi, Theva kulam,Kotta vilai, going door-to-door andcollecting addresses of people thatwere interested for follow-up lessons.

Although there was severe opposition in Aathlavilai and kotta vilai vil-lages God helped us to distribute all the books that we took with us.Moreover, please pray that the door for Gospel be opened in maankulam,Padmanathan puthur, and Kurandi villages.

God extended his grace to conduct a “100-village ministryvision camp” in Nagercoil on April 4th in Philipspuram C.S.I Church.We thank the Church pastor and his wife for extending their full support.We thank the Church Treasurer and all the committee members for helpingus and we pray that God may bless them richly. Children of God wholove TVGM ministry made the camp a special one. God met all theneeds wonderfully.

Nine staffs from TVGM promotional office went to Trichy HeadOffice on the 22nd of April to attend TVGM 30th Anniversary and Thanksgiving service and came back on the 27th of April.

On 29th April we arranged a thanksgiving prayer in Nagercoiland we thanked God for his goodness.

A former sister who worked in our office for five years re-joinedour office again this month by the grace of God.

In order to set up a promotional office in Nagercoil steps arebeing taken to purchase a piece of land. We are praying that the will ofGod be revealed to find a suitable place. Glory to God!

school going children. Because of the need to put their children in a newschool, to buy uniforms, note books, pay fees, e.t.c…

In line with this when we think of TVGM Children home stu-dents it is a very big financial stress for us. We are in need to buy allthings for all the 70 students. The cost for one student is approximatelyRs.1000/- and for all the 70 students it comes to Rs. 70,000/-. Butevery year God has been meeting this need wonderfully through Hischildren without any deficit.
