Riverview, Fla. - State Representative Ross Spano (R-Dover) is pleased to announce the next meeting of the Small Business Roundtable will be held on Friday, May 20th from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., at the Hillsborough Community College at The Regent in the Community Room, 6437 Watson Road, Riverview, FL.
“Having recently completed the 2016 Legislative Session, I am excited to announce that the topic for the Small Business Roundtable/Session Wrap-up is, “Florida’s Small Business Environment”. “Input from small business owners who live and work here in the community is critical to implementing an effective legislative agenda”, said Representative Spano. “As your Representative, I can’t represent you unless I hear your concerns.”

It is hard to believe it is already May, and the Chamber events to date have all been very successful. I want to personally thank our Honorary Mayoral candidates as they work hard to achieve the esteemed title of “Honorary Mayor of Riverview,” and at the same time raise monies for their selected charity. Please support them as best you can.
I also want to remind you that our “Teaching to Excellence” teacher’s breakfast will be held on August 4th at the Regent, and co-chairwomen Jennifer
Caskey (CenterState Bank) and Kendra Wilson (Suncoast Credit Union) could certainly use your help. If you have never attended this event, I strongly encourage you to do so as it is a phenomenal event analogous to the Annual Dinner.
Lastly, in the Golden Jubilee year of the Chamber, I encourage you to live the Golden Rule. Today, think outside of the box and take a minute to reflect on how you can better live the Golden Rule in your daily life. When you attend Chamber functions, please reach out and greet our newer members, as we were all there at one point in time not that long ago. And thank you for making the Chamber the great organization that it is!
