Category A StationNew Street Station is one of only 12 category A stations in the UK, meaning the station is on high alert for potential attack including terrorism. Our officers are at the front line of protecting the integrity of the station during any attempts and work closely with BTP and Station staff during any evacuations.
Additional training has been provided including "Project Griffin" a Police initiative to protect communities and cities from the threat of terrorism.
We secured one of Europe’s largest construction projects.
