Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM), a deemed to be universityu/s 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, popularly known as GITAM University is a premiereducational institution in the country having 34 years of track record in teaching andresearch of global standards. The University is located in three picturesque campusesat Visakhapatnam, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. With a multi disciplinary approach, theUniversity offers 118 programmes at UG, PG and Doctoral levels in Technology,Science, Pharmacy, Management, International Business, Architecture and Law.

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Govt. of India ranked GITAM as ‘A’category University among the universities of its kind. Master of Business Administration (MBA)The two year(six trimesters), full-time, Master of Business Administration(MBA) program follows a rigorous, relevant,cotemporary and dynamic curriculum. It is designed, developed and delivered to ensure high quality education and istaught by accomplished full-time and distinguished visiting faculty.

The Program consists of general management subjects, core subjects and specialization subjects that reflect thestudent’s chosen area of dual specialization, which includes – Finance, Marketing, Human Resource, Operations andSystems. Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM)The two year(six trimesters), full-time, Master of Human Resource Management (MHRM) program follows a rigorous,relevant, cotemporary and dynamic curriculum. It offers a balance between theory and practice and emphasizes onstudent’s personal and professional development.

The BBM program aims at developing a students intellectually ability, executive personality and management skills

through an appropriate blending of business and general education. The program assists the student in understanding

and developing the unique leadership qualities required for successfully managing business function, an organizational

Bachelor of Business Administration Honors Program. This program aims at providing an in-depth knowledge of all

B.Com (Hons) +

GITAM INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT is the first and onlyinstitute in Andhra Pradesh to have signed a MoU with ACCAto offer its qualifications through B.Com(Hons) program atGITAM University campus in Visakhapatnam from theacademic year 2014-15.

As part of the curriculum, the student would study all the 17papers of ACCA so that no additional training is required forthe ACCA examinations. After successful completion of 14papers(3 optional), the student would be able to earn globallyrecognised ACCA certification and also B.Sc in AppliedAccounting from world famous Oxford University, UK.
