    Pedagogy:

The Department of mechanical Engineering adopts innovative methodology in imparting in- depth

knowledge of the subjects through lecture-based approach and small-group tutorials, special classes to

back log students and experimental work, weekly seminars and group discussions to develop learning

and presentation skills. Counselors are assigned with 22 students to monitor the specific academic

needs of the students. Students of both UG and PG courses are required to complete a project/thesis as

a part of the curriculum under the supervision of a well experienced faculty member. The students are

allowed to work for their project work internally and at industries.

    Evaluation:

The assessment of the students performance in each course will be based on continuous internal
