SKATE PARKSVirginia Beach features

three premier skate parks located at Mount Trashmore Park (which also features a 40’ vert ramp), Williams Farm Park, and Woodstock

Park (under construction) that are welcome to

users of all ages.

FISHINGWhether you prefer to cast into the ocean or into one of our many

lakes, from the shore or by boat, we have over a

dozen suggested saltwater and freshwater fishing

locations across the city, including Lake Lawson/

Lake Smith Natural Area.

WATERWAY ACCESSIn a coastal community where the beach reigns supreme, we take special care to

offer some of the best facilities for you and your family to enjoy, including waterway access sites to launch boats, kayaks and canoes. Some premier spots for nautical

activity are Stumpy Lake Natural Area, Little Island Park, Munden Point Park, Pungo

Ferry Landing Park and the Lynnhaven Boat Ramp & Beach Facility.

DOG PARKSWe care about our furry canine friends and offer four spacious dog parks where they can run

off-leash and socialize with other dogs. Our dog parks are located

at Bayville Farms Park, Red Wing Park, Salem Woods Park,

and Woodstock Park (under construction).
