Love the Lea eventPymmes Brook makeover

10am – 1pm (plus pub time if you’d like to join in)

Back in November fantastic volunteers helped Thames21 relieve Pymmes Brook of 4 van loads of rubbish! These were tremendous events and we’re returning this weekend to tackle the next stretch. After the clean-up we’ll head to the pub to warm up, chat about the results of our recent water quality study, and how we’re all going to save the Pymmes!

We’ll be getting rid of junk like these freezers, allowing the brook to flow again. We’ll also look for signs of life in the brook (small water- living creatures), which is another indication of its health (or otherwise).

We’ll provide boots and gloves, hot drinks and snacks! Please be aware this event may be muddy so please wear appropriate old clothes.
