COMMUNITY SERVICE:

1. Provision of endocrinology consultation services to rural communities in the state of Tennessee with remote access to specialized endocrine care. This service was provided utilizing telemedicine facilities at the University of Tennessee Health Science.

2. Diabetes self-management education to rural communities in Tennessee was also been provided with above facilities. These programs have been well received by the communities.

3. Participation in Health Fairs in the community to deliver talks on diabetes prevention and self-management.
