VELOCI-T IMPORTANT GUIDELINES 1) In order to keep your Veloci-T running well, you must print at least 15 shirts per week*. 2) We highly recommend that you print at least 36 shirts within 7 days of setting up your printer. Printing just a handful of shirts is not enough to learn how to use the printer. You must print a few dozen shirts before you start getting the hang of it. 3) A high-speed internet connection is required for software support. To help you with software, we prefer to remotely connect to your computer using a secure program. This speeds up software support a great deal, but it requires a good internet connection. 4) An HD webcam and Skype are required for hardware support. Step 1 — 2: How to Fill Veloci-T Cartridges

Here's how to fill the cartridges forthe Veloci-T Direct-to-GarmentPrinter.

Here's what you'll need:

Ink bottles. (Cyan, Magenta,Yellow, Black and the bottle ofCleaning Solution.)

Syringes. We give you five, onefor each color plus one for thecleaning solution.

Cartridges. The Veloci-T hasfive in total.

A plastic cup, or a similarcontainer. To be used to fill upthe syringe more easily.

2: How to Fill Veloci-T Cartridges

© 2012 guides.equipmentzone.com Page 2 of 9

Step 2

There are five cartridges. Onecyan, one magenta, one yellow, and two black cartridges.

On the Veloci-T, one of the blackcartridges should be filled withcleaning solution.

Make sure to put thiscartridge in the CL slotwhen we put the cartridges intothe printer later.

The two black cartridges areidentical other than the fact thatone will be filled with black inkand one will be filled withcleaning solution.

NOTE: Your cartridges may appearslightly different from the type inthe photo.

2: How to Fill Veloci-T Cartridges

© 2012 guides.equipmentzone.com Page 3 of 9

Step 3

One of the black ink cartridges should have a CL label on it. This is the cartridge thatshould be filled with cleaning solution.

If your cartridge is missing that label, stick an extra CL sticker onto it.

Step 4

Remove both the clear plug and the colored plug from the top of the cartridge.

These pull straight out from the top. Use your hands, not any tools, to remove them.

If your cartridge has two colored plugs and no clear plugs, remove both colored plugsinstead.

2: How to Fill Veloci-T Cartridges

© 2012 guides.equipmentzone.com Page 4 of 9

Step 5

Once the plugs are removed, it'stime to fill your syringe.

Pour just a little ink into thecup. You'll need less thanan ounce.

It's often easier to fill the syringefrom a plastic cup than straightfrom the bottle. Plus, this methodhelps avoid sucking air into thesyringe.

Step 6

Remove the syringe from itspackaging.

Don't worry - the syringeisn't sharp. It's alsoentirely made of plastic.

2: How to Fill Veloci-T Cartridges

© 2012 guides.equipmentzone.com Page 5 of 9

Step 7

Screw the beige plastic tip onto the syringe.

It takes about two turns until it screws on all the way.

Step 8

Stick the tip of the syringe into thecup of ink.

Pull back on the plunger untilyou've filled the syringe up to aboutthe 12 cc mark.

Keeping the tip of thesyringe submerged in theink as you pull will limit the amountof air which gets into your syringe. That's a good thing.

2: How to Fill Veloci-T Cartridges

© 2012 guides.equipmentzone.com Page 6 of 9

Step 9

Here's what the syringe should looklike when it is filled with ink.

Again, fill to the 12 cc line. Youdon't have to be exact.

cc is the exact same measurementas ml. So you're filling your syringewith 12 ml of ink.

Step 10

Locate the filler hole.

This will be towards the back sideof the cartridge, the side that hasthe ink chips.

The filler hole will also have arecessed area around it. This areawill help to catch excess ink if youaccidentally fill your cartridge toomuch.

2: How to Fill Veloci-T Cartridges

© 2012 guides.equipmentzone.com Page 7 of 9

Step 11

Put the syringe into the filler hole all the way.

You'll be creating a seal with the top of the cartridge. It doesn't have to be a tight seal.

Push down on the plunger and fill the cartridge with ink.

You don't need to fill the cartridge up 100% of the way. 95% full is fine.

You will rarely use all the ink in the syringe to fill up the cartridge. That's ok. Just squirt itback into the bottle.

Step 12

Put the colored plug back in thefiller hole.

Leave the clear plastic cap out ofthe other hole. That hole is the airhole.

The air hole should only becovered when you aretransporting the printer orleaving the printer unused for alength of time.

Clean the plunger and the body ofthe syringe with warm water.

Push the plunger back into thesyringe.
