1. OPTIMISED HIGH PERFORMANCE MULTI-DISC VALVES Easy installation and excellent effi -

ciency. Two factors that lead to an extremely long service life for VARIS piston compressors. 2.

PARTICULARLY LARGE-SIZED CRANKCASE Allows long intervals between oil changes and con-

sequently reduces operating costs. Optional: Oil level monitor, automatic oil top-up, crankcase

heating. 3. RUGGED The rugged design of the VARIS piston compressors ensures highest

operating safety. There is even nothing against operating in dirty environments at temperatures

between -25 °C and +40 °C (with special oil). 4. DIRECT DRIVE Compressor and motor are con-

nected directly with each other. This particularly compact and economic form of drive provides

loss-free power transmission. 5. ELECTROMOTORS FROM RENOWNED MANUFACTURERS

VARIS piston compressors from BLITZ are manufactured to the highest quality standards. This

includes the use of high-quality IP 54-tested electromotors with ISO F-coils. For continuous

operation and high switching frequency. 6. LOW-NOISE Favourable fl ow characteristics, opti-

mised anti-vibration elements and optional sound-insulation covers provide all-round low noise

emission. 7. PRECISION CYLINDER LAPPING The special cylinder surface fi nish with a particu-

larly high contact area ratio and defi ned oil retention volume ensures low piston ring wear and

minimises oil consumption. 8. 2-STAGE DESIGN VARIS piston compressors are all construct-

ed to a sophisticated 2-stage design. Low thermal and mechanical stress leads to a high level

of effi ciency and a long service life. 9. FINE RIBBED CYLINDERS WITH BALL-FORM CYLINDER

HEADS This form of design en-sures maximum cooling surface. The basis for extremely low

operating temperatures and maximum effi ciency for VARIS compressors. 10. CLEAN INTAKE

AIR Clean compressed air increases compressed air quality. This is achieved by fi tting all com-

pressors of the VARIS Series with high-performance intake fi lters of sound insulated design.

performance tubular coolers made of high-
