Condensate Drain Connections
Each VariCool VAV unit has a condensate drain connection on the cooling coil section Systems with a water side economizer option have an additional drain connectionCondensate drain connections are 1” male IPSSuitable provision must be made to have sufficient depth available for an adequate trap height for all condensate re-moval Please refer to the Installation Manual for further details
Vibration Absorbers
When installing the VariCool VAV on a concrete pad, support rails or other methods other than spring isolation, use of vibration absorbers (field supplied) are recommended to prevent possible transmission of vibration It is recommended to use a minimum 1” thick Neoprene pad at each point indicated
