CLIMB LOVESHere are a few of our favorite things that we know you would enjoy.

    EAT

THE CLIFT is a boutique hotel just a couple of blocks off of Union Square. It was designed by Philippe Starck, whose design combines the hotels history and grandeur with a sense of modern daring. Along with the luxurious amenities, the hotel hosts the Redwood Room, a classic San Francisco bar, an English-style club called the Living Room, and an incredible furniture collection that boasts pieces by Salvador Dali and Ren Magritte.

    SLEEP

BIG SUR is an enduring West Coast destination and a famous retreat for artists and writers, most notably Henry Miller, Hunter S. Thompson, and a number of Beat poets. There are many lodging options available, from camp grounds to secluded hotels, and unparalleled access to the unique flora and fauna of the California Coastline. It is only a three-hour drive from the Bay Area, making it a lovely option for a weekend getaway.

    ESCAPE

IZA RAMEN is a must for any ramen lover. This pop-up-turned-restaurant has a casual atmosphere and seriously good food, serving classic ramen, tsukemen, and takoyaki, as well as its own unique spin on fried chicken and a salmon tartare served with tortilla chips. There is typically a long wait, so use that time to explore some local bars like Toronado or Noc Noc.

THE NEST is a novel about a dysfunctional New York family gripped by financial troubles. Cynthia DAprix Sweeneys debut novel is full of bittersweet humor and jabs at the tony New York upper-middle class characters that populate its pages. It is an excellent book for some springtime reading in the park.

    READ

THE JUNGLE BOOK is much more than an update on the Disney classic. Combining live action with incredible CGI, this modern take on the Rudyard Kipling story collection of the same name boasts an all-star cast of voice actors. It is an intense, engaging and wholly fulfilling experience, and a remarkable step forward into the next generation of CGI.

    WATCH

TOPO DESIGNS KLETTERSACK is a flawless combination of style and subtance, offering plenty of space and flexibility along with an understated and stylish look. Its great for anyone looking for an adaptable backpack that can handle the rigors of the outdoors or the modern commute.
