UNCOMMON LUXURY HIGH ABOVE THE CITY

301 MISSION STREET #49A | 2 BR + DEN / 3 BA | $7,195,000Steve Mi

A truly exquisite home hundreds of feet up amongst the San Francisco skyline, #49A at The Millennium Tower offers uncommon luxury and service. Currently configured as a two bedroom plus den, its numerous features include three full bathrooms, a laundry room, an eat-in kitchen, and high ceilings, to mention a few.

The Millennium Tower is a 58-story high-rise condo building centrally located in San Francisco’s south Financial District (Yerba Buena between SOMA and South Beach) at the intersections of Beale, Mission, and Fremont Streets. Developed by Millennium Partners of New York City for $350 million, designed by Glenn Rescalvo of Handel Architects, and built by Millennium Partners of New York City, the Millennium ushered in a new era of luxury and sophistication for the Bay Area. The fourth tallest building in San Francisco, the development is actually 2 separate buildings: a 58-story tower and an 11-story podium building.

Containing a total of 419 homes, the building evokes images of a crystal with a multi-faceted facade designed to reflect sunlight at various times of the day, much like a sparkling crystal in the sky, with the primary 25 floors of the tower containing the “Residences.” The quality of the amenity package is off the charts and raises the bar of city living in San Francisco. The 20,000 square-foot amenity complex includes a massive 5,500 square foot fitness center operated by Sports Club/LA, a children’s playroom, an outdoor terrace with beautiful landscaping and seating area, a 75-foot indoor competition lap pool under a large skylight, an adjacent hot tub, a wine cellar, a tasting room, a 2,500 square foot private lounge with food service from Michael Mina’s RN 74 just downstairs, and a screening room with a 100-inch HD projector screen to top it off.

The Millennium Tower caters to the most sophisticated city dweller.

OFF THE GRID AT OAKLAND MUSEUM

San Francisco isn’t the only spot in the Bay Area to catch the popular food truck event. Every Friday night food trucks set up shop and there is live music and dancing just outside of the Oakland Museum.

GRAND LAKE FARMERS MARKET

Every Saturday regional farmers set up to sell fresh, local produce lakeside. A lot of amazing food trucks also show up. It is a great place to do some grocery shopping, grab lunch, and people watch.

GRAND LAKE THEATER

This vintage 1930’s theater is such a cool place to catch a movie. With grand retro interior features and old movie cameras and equipment on display, the place definitely takes you back to a Golden Era in movie watching.

CLIMB LOVESHere are a few of our favorite things that we know you would enjoy.

EAT

THE HARRISON is more than a new building. It’s a whole new way to live in San Francisco. One that’s not just about having things, but about having experiences. Collecting moments. Stockpiling memories. The Harrison enables a life like nothing San Francisco has ever seen. Residences come in one to three bedrooms, with jaw-dropping vistas from every floor and sensational design by Ken Fulk. Just like that, luxury is interesting again.

SLEEP

AMERICA’S NATIONAL PARKS are in the spotlight, with the National Park Service commemorating its 100th anniversary in 2016. There has never been a better time to explore and be inspired by America’s majestic national parks. Throughout 2016, all parks, including the venerable Yellowstone and Yosemite, will celebrate the centennial with activities and initiatives that allow visitors to revel in their natural, historical, and cultural splendor.

ESCAPE

THE COMPANY is a new concept in San Francisco’s Marina neighborhood that offers a men u of classic Indian dishes with California ingredients . The menu is a tasting menu with a choice of seven, nine, or eleven dishes that will be chosen by the kitchen. Dishes include items like pakora chaat, bainghan barta, and kofta made with Sonoma lamb.

A MURDER OVER A GIRL is the story of a youth who is shot and killed by fifteen-year-old Larry King, a student who was in the early stages of identifying as Leticia. A clinical assistant professor at NYU attended the trial, and his resulting study, an unsettling book of clear-eyed empathy, tells the story that our failing legal system and dehumanized media refused to tell.

READ

ZOOTOPIA is Disney’s latest film, centering around an animated city of anthropomorphic animals. A fugitive con artist fox and a rookie bunny cop are thrown into an unlikely partnership as they help uncovery a conspiracy in Zootopia.

WATCH

APPLE’S IPHONE 7 is set for release later in 2016. The new iPhone will come in a 4.7 inch, 5.5 inch and pro version 5.5 inch with a ground breaking dual-lens camera system.
