I am writing this letter in order to express interest in a position within your organization. I believe my prior work history in healthcare settings in combination with my education in social sciences provides a unique perspective that would serve as an asset for your organization. I feel this position within your organization is in alignment with my developed skill sets, education, prior work history, and my current work experience.
My strong dedication, attention to detail, fast paced learning, self-motivation, and ability to work as part of a team are skills which are reflected in my fast paced upward mobility as a pharmacy technician and my ability to maintain certification and registration over the years. My current work within the non-profit Hennepin County Medical Center, has granted me the opportunity to take on high levels of responsibility and work within a high stress environments, which require extreme detail orientation, strict adherence to policies, laws, and regulations set forth by the hospital, independent agencies, the state, and the federal government.
My unique combination of education in social sciences in conjunction with my work history in healthcare settings has assisted with my development of strong critical and analytical skill sets and provided great opportunity to interact with many customers, co-workers, patients, and professionals from a diverse range of affiliations, ages, backgrounds, cultures, and religions allowing me to fully embody ideals of equity and diversity. As a result of the intersection between education and work, I have developed a deep understanding of the various technical and managerial challenges and importance of equity and diversity within work environments and how policy is developed to further improve customer and employee interactions.
In sum, my extensive experience in healthcare settings, my strong social science education, my prior work history, and my current work experience all have assisted in my development of man strong skill sets which would be an asset to your organization.
