What is vacuum brake ?
Vacuum brake is a type of brake used in
automobile field and uses the engine vacuum
for braking
Which help to reduce the drivers effort when
apply brake vacuum pressure is the pressure
which is below the atmosphere
The most usable vacuum break is vacuum servo
brake system

Air replace from opposite side of cylinderpiston system where the pressure is applied
Create a negative action at air replaced
side of cylinder piston system
So air shows a pulling action at air
replaced side of the piston inside the
cylinder
The piston tend to free movement onvacuum side of piston.

ADVANTAGES OF VACUUM
BRAKE
Higher braking efficiency
Reduce the driver`s effort
Not costly because air is freely available
Even the function fails this will act as an
ordinary air brake
Lesser braking time or time lag
More rapid in action
Used in cars ,trains ,etc

LIMITATION OF VACUUM
BRAKE
leakage of vacuum brake is risky
this function work when engine is on
working condition
particle of soil and others will reduce thelife of this brake
this is larger than ordinary brake system
