SNOWSHOE WALKS AND CROSS COUNTRY SKIING

Wilderswil Saxeten Trail – Sledding/TobaggoningThe snowshoe route starts at Skipintli in the town part of Innerfeld. Slowly mounting one arrives in south west direction in the region Holderboden and further on to the big Alphut in the area Seilera. After crossing the riverbed you find the much liked Glühwine bar in Chalberboden shortly. Beside the fine Glühwine you can also replenish your strenght with Chäsbrätel or a warm Soup.The retourn route follows similarly by the riverbed. From the Alphut Seilera, the trail now takes you slightly sloping down to the Alp road and crosses such in the area of Holdlerboden. After a further river crossing, you can return directly to the starting point or you can go on the trail for an additional loop. Back in the Skipintli you have earned yourself a treat!

Lobhorn Trail (Sulwald Trail) – SnowshoeingSnowshoeing at sunny Isenfluh is pur enjoyment. With the easy Sulwald Trail, which leads as a looping trail to Mederalp, or the more difficult Lobhorn Trail, which leads to Lobhornhütte, there are two diversified possibilities. Beginning- and endpoint of the route is, both routes, the mountainstation of the cable car in Sulwald. Both routes are marked as blue or red trails all the way and you enjoy the beautiful panorama of the Jungfrau Region.The Lobhorn Trail should only be walked bei good weather and snow conditions or if you are knowledgeable about this area. Attention: The Lobhornhut is only open on weekends in the Winter.

Lombachalp Habkern – Cross country skiing ParadiseRejuvenate yourself with a snowshoe walk at Lombachalp/Habkern. The Lombachalp stands for quiet and rejuvenation. Let yourself be guided thru the snowy mountain scenery by a locally knowledgeable guide and enjoy the sound of your snowshoes and your breath. Enjoy a break with a warm drink at Restaurant Jägerstübli.
