7. The same color on both sides counts as two color.

8. Purchase orders for custom credentials will not be accepted until a proof has been signed.

9. Custom artwork plates will be kept for 1 year after the most recent order. If orders are separated

by more than one year, “first-time order fees” will apply.

10. All cards are available with an optional Debitek stripe, signature panel, or magnetic stripe for

an additional charge. Standard magnetic stripe is 3 Tracks 4000 OE, other magnetic stripes are

available. Magnetic stripe colors may vary. Please consult EMACS®.

11. All customization fees are add-on to standard card pricing.

12. All card orders are final. For details on changes or cancellations, please consult EMACS®.

a. Any changes required after order accepted by EMACS® will involve an extension of the

deadline and possibly a change in price, which will be determined by our relevant department.

b. While the order is not definitively confirmed, the time indicated by EMACS® until then always

will be an approximation.

13. The stipulated period of delivery will be automatically extended in time to be determined by our

relevant department, if two things happen:

a. Introduction of amendments to the original order, at the request of the CUSTOMER while it is

running.

b. Delayed essential documentation, specifications, designs or clarifications requested by

EMACS®, to the implementation of the supply order.

14. The delivery period will be extended also in cases of irregular situations that modify the conditions

of production, such as:

a. Lack of material caused by the failure of our suppliers or by the absence in the domestic

market of materials whose acquisition was planned in that market.

b. Service disruption of transport, strikes, and other social or labour unrest, military

demonstrations, wars, disasters, unusual weather causes, fires in our facilities, serious

accidents indispensable machines in production order, unexpected power interruption for

long periods restrictions, or opposition from the authorities.

15. Credentials are available with the iCLASS™ Elite (Part # MC-0036) and/or Corporate 1000 (Part #

MC-1000) Formats for an additional charge.

16. iCLASS™ Tags are packaged in multiples of 50 pieces. Minimum order quantity is 100 pieces;

orders will be accepted in multiples of 50 pieces thereafter.

17. All prices in this web site do not include Contact Smart Chip Module.

18. OEM Modules require a signed Non-Disclosure agreement before order can be placed.

19. User of any Programmer must sign an HID® and EMACS® software license agreement.

20. Programming restrictions may apply. Contact an HID® or EMACS® sales representative for

complete details.

21. Camera ready artwork (i.e.: Adobe™ Ilustrator™ [.AI]) is required for all custom artwork cards.

22. Programming of the MIFARE®/DESFire® Portion with an HID®/OEM proximity Format is available

for an additional charge.

23. MIFARE® credentials include a permanent Unique MIFARE® 32 Bit Serial number at no extra

charge. Credentials are shipped with default keys configurations.

24. DESFire® credentials include a permanent Unique DESFire® 52 Bit Serial number at no extra

25. Card reprogramming have some constraints. Consult EMACS® and HID®.

26. All 125 KHz proximity readers are available in Wiegand output. The ProxPro™ reader is available

in a RS232 output version (P/N PS-5352). The ProxPro™, ProxPro™ II, Prox™80, MiniProx™ and

ThinLine™ II readers are available in a magnetic stripe output version (P/N 5358 for ProxPro™,

P/N 5458 for ProxPro™ II, P/N 5408 for Prox™80, P/N 5368 for MiniProx™, 5398 for ThinLine™

II and 6008 ProxPoint™ Plus)..

27. ProxPro™ II, MiniProx™, ThinLine™ II and ProxPoint™ Plus Readers are available with 9 feet/3

meters pigtail for an additional charge.

28. Proximity cards and keyfobs included in EntryProx™ kits will be programmed with HID®’s 37-

bit Wiegand format (H10302). HID® tracks the issuance of this format and does not duplicate

numbers. Numbers will be issued in random order. An EntryProx™ antenna is included with the

purchase of the EntryProx™ reader.

29. HID® Proximity™ 125 kHz credentials are available non-programmed for use with HID®

ProxProgrammer™.

30. Minimum 12 month quantity commitment is 500 units for 125 kHz Proximity Embedded Reader

Electronics. Units will be shipped in bulk quantities. Minimum shipment is 100 units for 125 kHz

Proximity Embedded Reader Electronics. Shipments must be scheduled for release at the time

the order is placed. Price includes the circuit board only (no antenna or plastic housing) unless

otherwise indicated for 125 kHz Proximity Embedded Reader Electronics.

31. eProx™ Lock Module boards are available with Wiegand, Clock-and-data, or F2F outputs.

32. OEM Modules require a signed Non-Disclosure agreement before order can be placed.

33. ProxPoint™ OEM and MiniProx™ Guts Modules are available in a magnetic stripe output version

(P/N 4068 for ProxPoint™ OEM; P/N 4038 for MiniProx™ Guts). ProxPoint™ OEM does not

34. Re-work cards must be returned to HID® in sequential order. If cards are not returned to EMACS®

in sequential order, EMACS® will apply a sort fee (part # MC-0014).

35. External Number on ProxCard™ II cannot be removed.

36. HID® will encode 10 digit Data Configuration on all cards ordered for use with the HID® magnetic

stripe readers unless instructed otherwise. For all other Non-HID® magnetic stripe readers, please

specify data configuration

37. All SmartID™, SmartTRANS™ and SmartTOUCH™ readers are sold in mullion mount size. For

single-gang mounting kit, please contact EMACS®.

38. HID® Prox™ and SmartTRANS™ readers are compatible ONLY with Corporate 1000 and 26-bit

formats.

39. SmartID™ Read/Write option can only be applied to model S10 and SK10 readers.

40. During the execution of the order could be introduced any changes in the design of materials,

only if this does not prejudice the quality levels of our supplies and resulting diminished assumed

no guarantees for this reason.

41. Each and every one of the documents or studies of any kind as sketches, designs, reports,

calculations, specifications and similar reports, supplied or shipped to the CUSTOMER are

always the exclusive property of EMACS® and, in any case, may be used or disclosed to third

parties, without our prior written consent; giving rise to the obligation to compensate the non-

fulfilment of the above.

42. In the price of materials is not included any expenses incurred by the manufacturing inspection

and receiving materials to be made by the CUSTOMER or by a representative, unless specific

clause; then the inspection or review must be clearly specified.

43. When, for whatever reason, the client must send goods to EMACS®, will always do after obtaining

an approval of a RMA (Return Number). You can contact us at (+34) 913 750 136 or by the email

44. When is received an RMA email approval, make the shipping, the procedure will be:

a. Indicate clearly the RMA number in the outer packaging, which protects the computer’s

original packaging for a safe shipment.

b. Make the shipment prepaid to the address provided in the RMA of EMACS®, may be some of

our offices, or at the manufacturer itself, whose address is listed correctly.

c. Wait for the technical review of the product and the resolution of the technicians.

45. The product will be returned repaired and prepaid if it is under warranty and it applies, will be

changed if necessary in the case that it has been purchased within five days or a repair estimate

shall be sent for approval by the client in the rest of the cases.

46. Change of a defective new product:

a. If within five working days of the delivery of the material, manufacturing defects are detected,

an RMA request indicating the reason for the return then must be performed to proceed with

the replacement.

b. This request shall be sent immediately so that it can count as defective material and thus

expedite the change.

c. In case of acceptance of a return, EMACS® will replace the defective product with another of

the same model.

d. In the case of negotiate the payment of the product with the commercial department, EMACS®

will paid in the account of the customer the amount paid by it for future purchases.

e. In the case that in the customer credit there are other charges, the payment of the defective

product may be used at the will of EMACS® to cancel all or part of the pending credit amount.

47. The equipment will be returned with all its components, manuals and original packaging in perfect

condition.

48. The RMA must be sent prepaid and in the case of defective products out of warranty, the cost of

shipping and return is always borne by the customer.

49. In no case will anticipate the shipping of any product to the customer to replace another subject

to RMA before the receipt in EMACS® the allegedly defective equipment and once it has been

reviewed and verified as defective and as it enters in the terms and conditions provided for this

purpose.

50. Returns to repair a defective product: No change or bonus of defective material is accepted

after this period of 5 working days from delivery of the order, time after which govern the normal

warranty, shall also be requested the RMA prior to the shipping of the product.

51. The validity of the RMA number is fifteen calendar days from the date of issue, after this time no

refund for revocation of the RMA will be accepted.

52. EMACS® reserves the right to refuse a return material for not complying with the above conditions.

53. EMACS® warranty covers manufacturing defects for a period of 2 years from the date of sale

except for: Batteries, Hard Drives, CDRW/DVDRW Units, monitors and products that takes on the

manufacturer’s warranty and which own conditions and manufacturer’s certificate are included.

54. EMACS® warranty does not include wear parts or damage caused by overloading, storms or

misuse or abuse of the equipment.

55. EMACS® repair or replace products on warranty at no cost for parts and labor if found to the

material is defective and the use, the shipping and the storage of the equipment have been

suitable.

56. It is up to the Department of Quality of EMACS® to determine if a product under warranty must be

repaired or replaced, within the established deadlines.

57. EMACS® is not responsible in any way for the consequences or accidental failures that are due

to a failure or negligence.

58. EMACS® will have no liability for any personal injury, damage to property or any other loss based

on claims that the product has failed technically or in the task for which it has been manufactured.

59. The uses of personnel outside our services to carry out work of modifications or repairs of our

products, during the warranty period, immediately void the warranty.

60. All and any irregularities within the guarantee must be communicated in writing immediately, with



urgent character and accompanied by information with the reasons which caused the failure,

under the penalty of cancellation of that.

61. The products or components delivered to the service center for repair will generate starting from

three months an amount of 2.00 € in concept of storage per day, passing to be EMACS® property

at 6 months of deposit.

a. Costs for review (workshop technician time): 73.47 € / h + VAT.

62. In the case that reimbursement of the purchase amount, whole or partial is required, EMACS® will

make a a transfer to the IBAN confirmed (bank certificate will be required) by the customer.

63. In the case that the presence of technical staff of EMACS® is required in the customer premises,

he will assume the costs of travel, accommodation and maintenance of the technical staff. They

will bill the hours spent, with a maximum of 8 hours per working day. The service will be billed

according to the current service fee.

64. All material left on deposit by the customer will be billed if 30 days have elapsed since the deposit

is made, and has not been returned to our warehouse. They will also be billed when the material

is not returned in perfect condition, including the preservation of its packaging.

65. Repair or modification or replacement of parts during the warranty period does not involve the

extension of the term thereof.

66. Parts replaced within the warranty period shall be in possession or under possession of EMACS®.

67. M. E. DORCAS® guarantees its products for FOUR YEARS from the date of departure from the

production line, against manufacturing defects that originate a malfunction. The warranty only

entitles to the free replacement of defective parts, excluding any compensation for damages that

the defect has have generated.

68. EMACS® reserves the right of ownership of all goods for which payment has not been entirely

satisfied invoice due and can remove it from the customer’s home or any other place where it

shall find.
