Director's Note
First of all thank you so much for coming to see this show! If it weren't for such an incredibly active and focused undergraduate theatre community tirelessly supporting one another's works none of this would be possible for any of us!
As a student of theatre in this very academicallyfocused program, I was beginning to lose sight of why we do this. We spend painstaking hours perfecting a performance that, if we're lucky, less than 450 people will see. Getting this production of Urinetown together has helped me find the way back. I remembered what makes me want to do this again and again: it's really effing fun. So have fun, laugh, and enjoy now. Think about it later.

This is her first of (hopefully) many CMTS productions, as she doesn't know what else she would do with her time. In a world where dance could kill, there is so much love for c-team, cast, family, friends, and of course, the a-team.
Michael Hsu (SEAS'12, Sound Designer) It was the year of nineteen hundred and eighty eight. Disco was dying, Reagan was leaving office, and my immigrant parents, clinging to the last embers of their youth, engaged in sweet coitus, fulfilling their dream of conceiving the mOst magnificent child known to man kind (born on December 18th, 1988 in Providence Memorial Hospital, EI Paso probably). He does sound design when he's not kicking ass at mechanical engineering.
