Necessary Informations about Examination

Human Resource Development Ministry hasproposed a scheme of National Means-cum-MeritScholarship for financially weak children. Eachstudent from Class IX to XII will be paidRs. 6000/- annually. A selection-examination isbeing conducted for this. Students selected in thisexamination will be eligible to get the scholarshipas per rule.

● Eligibility

Those students are eligible to appear inNational Means-cum-Merit Scholarship(NMMS) examination who have been study-ing in class IX of some government school,government-aided school or school of local-self government, obtained minimum 55%mark i n Class VIII (5% relaxation will begiven to reserved category candidates) andwhose guardian’s gross annual income is lessthan Rs. 1·5 lakh.

● Examination FeeThere is no fee for the examination.

● Medium of ExaminationStudents may appear in Hindi or Englishmedium. Students should follow the format ofapplication form given in the advertisement,fill them up completely and submit them tothe respective Principal till the fixed date.
