• Liberia
• Benin
All the states contacted as well as the RSOO
• Received commitment from 5 States
• Received formal commitment from BAGASOO and COSCAP-SADC

2. Regulation and GM (1/2)
PANS-OPS procedures approval
• WG members: Cameroon/Kenya/Mauritania/Nigeria
• First meeting took place in September 2014 in Dakar, Senegal
• Second meeting scheduled for Q1 2015
• A third meeting is foreseen for 2015
• Activity carried out in liaison with AFPP (WACAF)
Flight Ops Inspectors Manual
• Cancelled activity
• ICAO published document is acceptable
(Air Operator Certification and Surveillance Handbook)

Airworthiness (new tech. aircraft)

• May be organised again late 2015 if money available
Certification of ATO
• Second semester 2015
• Contacts with AATO and ICAO initiated

4. Training (1/3)
Train the trainer in OPS
• Organisation within the AFI plan framework not
possible (training material not yet available)
• Opportunity offered by DGAC France
• 4 seats in a course organised for their own inspectors
• Beneficiary countries selected in coordination with DGAC
France (Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Madagascar & Mauritania)
• Additional availabilities possible in 2015 (6 seats)
• In liaison with ICAO Montreal for a Train-Instructor-Course (TIC) in 2015 for the highest
potential trainees
