Animals are moving towards Karbi hills for shelter
55 periphery villages affected (50 from Southern bank and 5 from Northern bank)
Water flowing over NH 37 at five different locations between Bagori to Kohora.
Local community groups are monitoring the flood situation and wildlife movements. They are also supporting in animal rescues
Hog deer has been found to be the most affected species followed by swamp dear
Report of species death and injury during the flood.
