Grassland Safari ‘Kaziranga’The UNESCO World Heritage site lying along the mighty Brahmaputra River, Kaziranga National Park covers an area of about 430 sq. km. Its swamps and grasslands with tall thickets of elephant grass and patches of evergreen forest, support a large number of wild animals. This Park has the largest concentration of the one-horned Rhino in the subcontinent, saving it from near extinction. The grasslands are raptor country and the crested serpent eagle, the Pallas fishing eagle and grey headed fishing eagle can be seen circling over the marshes along with herd of wild elephants and wild boar.

TheThe numerous water bodies of Kaziranga are rich reservoirs of food (including fish). Thousands of migratory birds visit the park seasonally from as far as Siberia. Major migratory birds are the grey pelican, black-necked stork, lesser adjutant stork, Pallas's fish eagle, grey-headed fish eagle, about 25-30 Bengal floricans, swamp partridge, grey peacock-pheasant, great pied hornbill, bar-headed goose, whistling teal, green imperial pigeon, and silver-breasted broadbill.

KaziKaziranga National Park is one of the most picturesque wildlife parks in India. Sunset is a pleasant sight here with the birds returning to their nests. Apart from being home to the one-horned rhino, it is also the natural habitat of wild buffaloes, wild boars, elephants, Barasinghas, leopards, tigers, hoolock gibbons, capped langur, rock python and monitor lizards. The vast open areas make the sanctuary one of the best places to observe & photograph wild animals through jeep safaris.

ThoughThough we have a set itinerary, unlike other photography tours, we don't always stick to it. Our focus is on making quality images. The goal is to ensure that participants get the best photographs possible. This means we need to stay flexible and determine our daily shooting schedules depending upon weather and other locallocal factors. We should visit locations when the conditions are ideal to optimise our chances of getting great photographs.


Getting There

TheThe tour begins and ends in Guwahati. There are several flights (airport code GAU) and train connections daily between Guwahati and the rest of the country. We shall be happy to assist you in making travel arrangements to and from Guwahati.



Kaziranga

• Early morning leave for morning jeep safari at Agoratoli range.• Return & have breakfast.• After lunch leave for evening jeep safari at Agoratoli range.• • Return by sunset & rest of the time free for leisure.• Overnight at Agoratoli resort.

Guwahati - Kaziranga

• Pickup from Guwahati Airport at 3 pm & transfer to Kaziranga by late evening.• Reach Kaziranga & check in to Agoratoli Resort.• Post dinnner assemble for next day shoot plan.• Night stay at Agoratoli resort.

(For store locations, please visit our website http://www.camarena.in/stores). Our Liabilities1.1. We do not own any hotel, do not control or operate any airline/railway/any other services. Although we try our best to arrange and recommend the best services, we do not hold any responsibility for the performance of all/any of the services provided by service providers or for any dissatisfaction, delay, accidents, injuries, loss of life, property, document(s) & baggage, flight/rail delays, reservations, transportation, insurance, cancellations, suspensions or any other eventuality/irregularity and also for any consequences arising out of natural calamities, strikes, terrorism/insurgency, b breakdown of any facility, act of omission and commission.
