The continuing deluge of information regarding thepathogenesis and treatment of common disorders seen bythe internist continues to evolve and makes it more andmore challenging for practicing physicians to stay currentand up-to-date with these recent advances.

This intensive course will provide you with a comprehensivereview of the most important advances that have recentlybeen made in internal medicine. The emphasis will beplaced on progress that has been made in our basicunderstanding and clinical management of the mostcommon disorders seen by you.

Teaching will be primarily through lectures, specialworkshops, Ask the Expert sessions, panels and casediscussions with a plethora of visual aids. In addition,each specialty will have a case-based session using aninteractive wireless audience response system, which willallow you to anonymously test your knowledge in thedifferent areas of medicine.

Participation in this course will be immensely helpful ifyou are preparing for the internal medicine boards orrecertification examination.
