SHOWCASE RECEPTION & EXPOOver the past year, the UNM Business Plan Competition has been going through a program transformation to advance our vision. Our vision, as established by our program founder, Dr. Sul Kassicieh, is that economic development in New Mexico will be generated through the creation and operation of collegiate business ventures. Our program is now called the UNM Entrepreneurial Challenge, a name that links us with our program’s past and focuses us on the important challenge ahead: preparing and training the next generation of business owners and employers in New Mexico to successfully operate and grow beyond their first five years. We have been busy the past 8 months leading our collegiate cohort representing multiple colleges and universities in our state through a deliberate process of discovery, planning, execution, and project leadership. The teams presented on Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Showcase Reception & Expo at Hodgin Hall on UNM campus.
