PhD Programs

The University of Agriculture, Faisalabad will conduct a GRE (subject) type test in Agronomy, Crop Physiology, Agri. Entomology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Biotechnology, Environmental Sciences, Environmental & Resource Economics, Rural Sociology, Agri. Engineering, Water Resource Engineering, Food Technology, Animal Breeding & Genetics, Animal Nutrition, Livestock Management, Poultry Science, Clinical Medicine & Surgery, Parasitology, Pathology, Physiology, Pharmacology and Theriogenology on August 18, 2013, as this test is not available with the NTS.Candidates who want to take this test need to submit a bank draft worth Rs.1500/- in favor of Treasurer UAF or Bank Receipt from the NBP or /HBL, University branches in the office of the Director Graduate Studies, UAF. up to 12-8-2013.Application forms for this test may be obtained from office of the Director Graduate Studies or can be downloaded from the website (http://www.uaf.edu.pk).Roll Number slip issued by the Director Graduate Studies and original CNIC required at the time of test. This test is only one eligibility criteria of admission and not a guarantee for admission.

EVENING PROGRAM

GAT-II type test for MBA (3½ year, ½ year) and GAT (General) for MS (CS) qualified from NTS is compulsory to get admission. However, candidates awaiting for result of GAT-II and GAT (General) may submit the admission form, but the candidates of MS (CS) shall have to provide the proof of qualifying the same test before displaying the first merit list. Note: The candidates of MBA (3½ year, ½ year) may be considered for admission without qualifying GAT-II, but they are bound to qualify the same test within first two semesters, otherwise, their admission shall stand cancelled. The reserved seats for disabled persons are 1%,sports 2%, extracurricular activities 2% and overseas Pakistani 1%of total admission. The schedule for trial on sports quota will be announced later on.

MBA (3½ year, 2 ½ year), MBA(Executive),MS Management Specialization (Marketing) M.Sc. (C.S.), M.S. (C.S.), M.Sc. Chemistry, M. Phil. Microbiology, M.Phil. Economics, M.Phil. Rural Sociology and M.Sc. (Hons.) Environmental Sciences.

Complete applications should reach in the office of Director Graduate Studies, University of Agriculture, Faisalabad/Principal, College of Agri. Dera Ghazi Khan upto 30-08-2013 (date may be extended further if needed). The graduates awaiting for result may submit their application forms but their names will be included in the merit list on receipt of their final result. Date to display first merit list of selected candidates will be announced later on. For this purpose please visit the University website and also will be mentioned in the next advertisement.

Note: For MSc/MSc(Hons.) and M.Phil. admission,in the disciplines of Chemistry, Biochemistry,

Zoology, Botany, Physics, Statistics, Fibre& Textile Technology, Home Economics (Food and

Nutrition), Home Economics (Human Development & Family Studies), Home Economics

(Clothing and Textile) and M.A. Fine Arts some seats are reserved on self-support basis. The

entry fee for admission in these disciplines is Rs.2,00,000/- (Rs.50,000/- with the application

form and Rs.1,50,000/- in subsequent semesters in addition to normal/other University dues).

The Bank Draft/Pay order for Rs.50,000/- be drawn in favour of Treasurer UAF and be submitted

in his office. The receipt obtained from the Treasurer's office is to be attached with the

application form. Twenty five percent seats of MSc (Hons.)/MPhil are reserved on self-support

basis in the Faculties of Agriculture, Vet. Science, Animal Husbandry, Agri. Engineering, Social

Sciences and College of Agriculture, Dera Ghazi Khan with the payment schedule and procedure

given above. The reserved seats for disabled persons are 1%,sports 2%, extracurricular

activities 2% and overseas 1%of total admission. The schedule for trial on sports quota will be
