SPEC COMPANY LIMITED was established in 2004 for the for the promotion of soil hardener agent STEIN abroad. STEIN is a quality inorganic soil hardening agent that is environmentally friendly. The formula was developed in 1975 by a Japanese company named Matsumura Synthetic Laboratory Co., Ltd. STEIN continues to be utilized by a handful of public work projects such as roads and irrigation for more than 1,500 places in Japan and now it is exported mainly to Asia and African countries.

The merits of STEIN construction is low cost and high durability. It is possible to make pavement roads 40~60% cheaper than asphalt roads. Also, there is less problem of peddle and cracks. The running cost is low because STEIN roads are needless to maintenance so often.

Infrastructure, Environment, Water and Irrigation, Agriculture

STEIN is mixture with Ordinary Portland Cement and elements composed from 27 types of inorganic materials. By mixing STEIN with soil about 10% in the best rate of water and compaction, it can make soil hard enough for construction of roads and irrigation systems.

Method of construction for roads and irrigation systems

Joint research – areas include construction, soil

surveys, use of irrigation equipment in rural areas

for fish farming, etc.

Feature: Farm roads which were constructed 40

years ago in Northern part of Japan.
