Class Scheduling
Hints for Success
Prepare for class ahead of time. Study Time: 2 hours of homework for each hour in
class. Tutoring is available (for free) in CLASS, the Center
for Learning and Academic Support Services Arrive on time for class. Turn off cell phones, pagers, iPods, etc. Notify your instructor if you are unable to attend
class. Receive advisement at least once per semester. Make sure you understand your degree
requirements.
Scheduling Classes
• Must take 12 units to be full time student• Take one English and one Math class (More
on this later)• Take two General Education classes• Enroll in one of the 11 Learning Communities

Enrollment
• Lunch begins at 11:30am in the Loker Student Union (LSU) Food Court
• Registration for classes begins at 12:35pm in computer labs on this floor
• If you have some extra time, go to Admissions and Records (WH C-290) to get your photo taken for your student ID Card
