UNITED AS ONE we shine and be recognized our business on a square foot. Each one is unique and diverse in different ways, have settled our identities and created a spot in Curacao. When had marked our place from a very long road to this little ground, one got an idea. Since we didn’t notice, simultaneously each one of us took the urge and started creating because of concern. One started using images on its platform and the other followed around. The intention was helping to create harmony so viewers can see this idea of visual attraction was put in action as eye catcher. But it took us to surprise at how we resulted being united as one.

THE Writing relies most with inspirations and resources from the diversity ethnic and politic move about, but also reviews from Art-Cultural trips and events. Past Lyrical Poems changed into Prose randomly until Workshops Creative writings became result. The Love for the English language and knowledge of Afro-American and Caribbean writers are from rooted Family Winward-islands. Chosen Countries so far, promote outdoors travels & workshop Residency projects were Ghana-West Africa 2011-‘12 and Surinam-‘13/’14/ ’15. Important assets for community became booklets as ‘A look through the sunglasses from an Antillean’.

Art is a Creative form for expressing the feeling which comes instantaneously from intuition or instinct and put in action - it’s than visible for others to admire. Above all, it’s an integrated action between the work and the artist that finds itself into that space of exploration – contentment and commitment. A painting can strike someone’s heart looking at it and feel belonged. The Art and buyer become a connected magnetism. Along with this exploration, a heritage exist and to hold on traditionally, the artist has to go on a journey of constant change while the expressions are derived from own vision.

FUNARK FOUNDATION (PROMOVE ARTE I KULTURA)

Funark is an organization that realizes Cultural Arts Creative and Rhythmical Stretching with Fund proposals and activities for youth and adults, also 60+ and handicaps within our community-but has wider aspect of promoting Arts/Craft skills in further teachings for leaders.

The foundation exists 25 years (’87) working on the creative field under the guidance of Visual artist Asyla ten Holt which works and lives in Curacao. Through her concern of public non-accessibility for many artists she began interviewing Writers and Visual artists- Performers in Music-Dance and Theatre to give more exposures in society. Her effort to write in two local newspapers (Dutch and Papiamentu) was supported by Local businesses and Eric La Croes for polishing the native language. Simultaneously Funark continued promoting Arts and Culture. Asyla introduced courses to enhance talents and visual aspects. Also bodywork stretching was offered (Center Janwe and after School Tera Cora ).

Asyla ten Holt occupies 35 years with Visual Arts and Therapy bodyworks. Actually must mention Bonaire as well where Asyla sustained Arts and Crafts from beginning (’84-’89) and founded there a workshop Art center. Her workshops included Youth Center Bonaire-the total of Community centers via a Social Governmental plan and attendance of Art markets while working with different groups. In meanwhile her creative writing in poems and prose emerged as well.

Focus on Creative exposures will improve Community liabilities and through a foundation it will define its place in society. That’s why, to improve stability in creativity and have more exposures publicly, Funark wants to enlarge its 26th year 2016 with free membership for a year. Simultaneously it will utilize and attract all that is necessary for improvement, esp. for +50 artists. Arrangements organizing debates and have support in propagate artistic event by ways of writing articles will become refinement to proper individual advancement.

Recruiting Sponsors is main reason to facilitate and contribute in working fields when prepare. Also outdoors Residency projects for the Arts-Craft-Literature-Design-Photography and Performing Arts and Lectures are included.

Thus aim of Funark with the activities to a Cultural Economy showcase, is to recognize the importance of Communities’ participation through writing articles and Prose-as well and try built firm contact with Institutions for Exhibitions and Touristic Attractions.

Entertainments-, Bookstores-, National Library- and Museum liabilities are educative and informative centralize domains with creative assets to study upon and use for development in a Cultural Economy.

Indoors activities coming up to recent include Reda-soshal org. with ‘Den bo Bario-’ and the After school- activities. Cultural week events and periodical workshops like: Pashon pa Arte (Arts passion) and Blossom up your inner creativity. For events grants for materials are usually asked and teachers fee with building-space support to work in, if not through the organizations.
