Once you have your credentials, please go to tcgvoip.tcg-corp.com. Use your provided username and password to log in. Once you click Sign In you will be taken to the Dash-board. This is your central hub which provides ac-cess to instant messag-ing, sending and receiv-ing calls, listening to your voicemails, virtual meet-ings, and much more!

To get started, you will need your TCG-VoIP user credentials. They will be provided to you on page 3. If you need any assis-tance with your creden-tials, please contact the help desk at 1-(866)-950-

For users at KID Inc. your initial username and password will be as follows:

Please be sure to change your password after your first log in. Please go to page 7 on how to change your password.

If you need assistance, please call the TCG helpdesk.

For your username, replace “firstnamelastname” with your first name and last name. (Ex. [email protected])

G e t t i n g S t a r t e d The first time you log into the UC client you will be shown a quick welcome walk through. Since the welcome walk through is only displayed once, this guide will retain the initial screenshots for future reference.

Note:

If you would like to make phone calls from the UC client, you will need

to ensure that you have a microphone available and plugged into your

computer. You will not be able to make or answer calls without having

a microphone.

G e t t i n g S t a r t e d Dashboard - Takes you back to the Dashboard/Main screen of the UC client

Chats - Displays instant messages

Meetings - Allows you to start a new meeting for others to join

Voicemail - Shows your current voicemails and allows you to listen and delete

History - View your outgoing, incoming, and missed calls

Help - Assists with common tasks like calling, meetings, chat, and voicemail

The arrow icon will expand your side menu to display all icon names

Applications - Links to the mobile app and account manager

Clicking My Profile will give you access to your availability status. These options will also set your availability on your desk-phone and mobile app simultaneously.

These options will allow you to further control your account and your IO devices (microphone, headset, and camera)

You can add additional information to your profile here

Here you are able to pick which video camera your computer uses during vid-eo meetings, the mic you would like to use for calls and your speakers where you will be able to hear the caller on the other end.

You are able to change your TCG-VoIP password here

Additionally, when you click on My Profile, you are able to change your password, add more information to your user profile, and change which microphone you would like to use.

C a l l i n gTo make a call from the web client, press the dial pad icon as shown here and type the number you wish to dial, press the phone icon when you are ready to place the call.

You can also directly call users who appear in your contact list. Hover your mouse over the user and three dots will appear. By clicking the three blue dots, you will see a pop up that allows you to either call the user, start an in-stant message, or start a meeting.

When selecting the chat icon on the side menu, your messages will appear. To start a new chat with one or more participants, click the blue chat icon at the top of the screen.

Once you have finished selecting users you would like to chat with, press the Start Chat button to start.

A meeting room will allow you and up to three other users start a video con-frence. Your meeting URL as shown above is your personal dedicated meet-ing room. Share your “My Meeting URL” with any user to allow them to join your meeting, and for extra security you can enable a guest pin, by entering a four digit pin of your choice, so that any user joining the meeting will require your set pin.

Note: “Start an Instant Meeting” gives you the same options as your personal Meeting Room, but is “disposable” - any settings or pins you set for the In-stant Meeting will be deleted once the meeting is closed out by all parties.

You can send invites to other users by click-ing the “Invite Guests” icon on the main meeting screen.

After starting a meeting, you’ll be presented with the main Meeting page.

When selecting the History tab, you are able to see the call history to your extension, this includes you deskphone, your mobile app and calls that come direct-ly to the UC client. You can filter the call log by Outgoing, In-coming, and Missed Calls. You can also select a date range to help locate those important
