Fast and reliable: Giving rust no chanceUni Wash P 5530 is R-M’s newly developed high-performance and multi-functional undercoat material for the commercial vehicle sector – and it is completely chromate-free. Uni Wash P 5530 ensures excellent adhesion on aluminum, steel, and stainless steel substrates. it is fast: at 20°C, the undercoat material air-dries reliably in a flash, making it the ideal choice for paint repairs. Uni Wash P 5530 is a two-component acid-hardening PVB undercoat material designed for fast 2-layer or 3-layer systems. its color is beige. With good preparation, it guarantees excellent anti-corrosive properties on aluminum, steel, and stainless or galvanized steel substrates.

• Uni Wash P 5530 is mixed at a ratio of 100:50:10 with the hardener GhD activator slow and the thinner GV 300.

• With a 2-layer system, 2 to 2.5 spraycoats must be applied for a film thickness of 20 to 25 μm. With a 3-layer system, 1.5 to 2 spraycoats must be applied for a film thickness of 15 to 20 μm. The recommended size of the spray gun nozzle is 1.4 to 1.8 mm (0.55 to 0.70”).

• To achieve the best results, the surface must flash-off until fully matt between spraycoats. The flash-off time is 30 minutes at an air temperature of 20°C.

• With a 2-layer system, the surface is now coated with GraPhite hD topcoat.

• With a 3-layer system, GraPhite hD sUrfacer White

or GhD MUlti Primer Filler CF P 5520 are used before the application of GraPhite hD topcoat.
